Couple things for JohnZ or whoever else maybe starts modding the files.

Jordan should have Jordan specific shoes. Surprised he doesn’t.

Some teams like old rockets should always wear white shoes. Drexler w rockets should be bald.

Iverson and other big names should have custom shoes imo. Barkley. Jordan. Pippen. Shaq. Lebron. Etc.

Whenever i play Road Trip no matter what i do the CPU manages to push me over or quick pass the ball to score.. A lot of the time i have a hard time getting close to the rim to score lol and it ends in blowout scores

Also im not sure if im able to get historical challenge mode.. i installed all the pkgs but looks like i only have classic road trip

CelticsBird33, unfortunately most of the ideas either can't be done because the game doesn't have the feature, or can't be done currently because I haven't figured it out. I'll go one by one:

The Forum court for the Lakers.

This is a resource constraint. There are far fewer arenas than there are teams. I don't want to have two arenas for the Lakers because the courts wouldn't be much different, and I think it's better used for another team. I could replace the existing Lakers arena, but there are more Staples Center Lakers teams (3) than Forum teams (1).

Classic NBA Finals and playoffs logos on the court for a tournament mode.

Would be cool, but the game doesn't have this feature where the courts are different in different game modes.

Can we get Jack courtside at The Forum, and Spike at MSG? Patrick Ewing needs a flat top. lol

Not possible. The crowd isn't arena-specific. Their clothes are, but their body parts are not (i.e. head, arms).

One for 2.0, which I'm sure you are doing already, is adding more legends in place of the modern player slots.

I'm do what is currently possible, but to do this right we need ATTRIBDB to be editable. This is explained in the readme.

Jimmy friggin Butler needs a headband

Totally possible, but heads take a time to do well. This is on my list, but it's very far down so it probably won't happen.

Maybe adding coaches like Riley etc.

When I tried to create coach head textures, it didn't go well. I'd like to revisit this.

Can 91-93 Jordan get some Raptors and Suns Chuck get his Air Max's

Early 90's Jordan and late 90's Jordan are the same player model. He wears the Jordan 12's. Chuck wears generic shoes. If I changed the generic shoes, half the players in the game would be changed. Again, in order to do this right we need ATTRIBDB to be editable.

Adding more classic pictures for the loading screens.

More can't be added. I've replaced most of them.

Incorporate the CBS theme music from 1982-1989, and the NBA on NBC theme from 1990-2002 somehow.
Mix in (or interchangeable) Marv Albert and maybe Dick Enberg for some calls.
Have Johnny Most and Tom Heinsohn call the Celtic games. It'd be pretty dang cool to hear Johnny Most say "BOOMSHAKALAKA!!"... especially against the Pistons. lol

I don't know how to replace audio. Also, there's no team-specific announcer so that wouldn't be possible.

Someone out there did a Seinfeld mod one time...

Eh, kinda. They replaced three in-game heads that don't match the bodies and are way too big. Not in the same ballpark of what I've done IMO

Without ATTRIBDB it absolutely sucks. Planning player and uniform swaps and replacing textures is pretty awful.

Fictional teams would be cool. I'm probably never gonna make time for it.

Unlike the stock game, there are no unlockables. All teams and players are unlocked by default.

Nope, they didn't make the cut. But they'll likely be in a new project that I'm working on - but that probably won't be released very soon.

Without ATTRIBDB being edited, this can't be done without making a mess. Shoes can't be reassigned, only the textures can be replaced.
