without knowing (what IDs) and having to edit them via 2K23 tool, imo headshots & portraits are moot point to install because as what you said, @Shuajota, most of them are still with Headshot ID and Portraid ID of 1 especially the rooks and many veterans too. If I understood this incorrectly, please advise bro @Shua.

That's correct, but at the end of the season they are not going to add IDs for all players unless they add facial scans for all players (which has never happened). So my suggestion is to make a personal roster and have everything assigned there by yourself.
