3 years...So a bit more pain to go...
Sounds about right for the way their luck went in real life. Guess we'll see!

I see the Bulls being fodder in a lot of teams' turnaround/confidence-building games this year.

Not surprising to see Durant making an immediate impact, broken nose and all. Westbrook going for that FU triple-double average!

43 points on 16/50 from the field?!? Crazy stat line for Westbrook there.

Stories
Injury curse continues to haunt Rip City
With injuries derailing their last campaign, the Trail Blazers could be heading down an eerily disappointing path in a new division, losing Marc Gasol for 4-6 months with a dislocated patella. Can Portland manage to right the ship in his absence and stay in the upper echelon of the West?
Reigning East champs take back top position, Warriors & Jazz continue battle it out
Taking the crown from the Wizards, The Cavaliers are back on top of the East, hungry to defend their East crown behind LeBron James. Mirroring October's standings, the Warriors continue to sit one game above the wounded reigning champions, hoping to convert MVP Stephen Curry's spectacular play into a dominant season.
Rose the missing piece in Indy?
Boasting their best starting record at this point of the season in years, the Indiana Pacers are reaping the rewards of offseason acquisition and former All-Star Derrick Rose, as the struggling franchise sits only one game behind the second placed Wizards. Teaming with fellow veterans Chris Bosh and Wesley Matthews, there's hope once again that this momentum into some deadline moves could see Indy back in contention.

A not insignificant number of players who've been severely injured in my NBA 2K14 MyCAREER suffered their injuries in games against us. You do have to wonder if the odds are a little higher, especially in a mode like MyCAREER where you can't adjust any sliders.

Cavs-Wizards could renew their rivalry. Where's Deshawn Stevenson when you need him?
