Tony D's NBA 2K97 / New roster update available! (April 21st)

This roster/mod has been upgraded to NBA 2K97

Changed the name of this mod, because i kind of got carried away with modding the files and roster
So here it is! Completely new experience, 1996-97 season roster with the following features..

This roster/mod features:

- 1996-97 roster and all the players who were on teams payroll at the end of the season
- No caps, everyone has a cyperface or a lookalike cyperface
- NBA On TNT 90's presentation (audio theme, scoreboard, overlays, wipes, logos, mics, studio etc.)
- Complete NBA 2K97 user interface theme
- 1997 All-Star game with courts and jerseys
- 1997 Rookie All-Star teams
- Correct team & arena names/jerseys, arenas and logos
- Correct team history regarding championships, division & conference titles
- Correct coaches, assistant coaches and GM's
- Correct rotation minutes and plans reflecting 1996-97 season
- Real salaries (contract lengths, team/player options, salary reflected to todays cap), jersey numbers, ages, height/weight, handedness, injury history, years pro, college & draft info, nicknames, potential and peak years
- Career stats for some players
- Attributes and tendencies fixed to reflect 1996-97 season
- Correct accessories and shoes for all players (based on getty-images)
- Signature styles and badges
- Free agent pool with recently retired legends (Magic, Daugherty etc.) and some real life 1996-97 free agents, just for the fun of it (i'll add more in the future releases)
- Expansion teams and others that don't have enough real players are filled with "Roster Player" fill-ins that will retire after first season as a homage to NBA Live '97 to prevent computer signing free agents or generated players to fill teams
- MyLeague compatible

Known issues:

1. Game crashes in MyLeague offseason when the expansion team (Pelicans) drafts a player. Workaround for this is just doing draft using Draft Board for now, so you can be sure your team picks a player you approve of. The bug disappears after second season of MyLeague

2. Game crashes when editing some players signature styles with ingame editor, use NBA2K Tools if you want to edit styles

NEW IN THIS UPDATE!! Rookie All-Star Teams as requested + new cf's

Installation info:

1. If you have downloaded this mod before, please remove the old "Mods_97" folder and replace it with my new version. I made so many changes for this new version that i decided to put out the whole new folder for people to download instead of upgraded files, just to avoid bugs.

2. You need a Looyh's NBA Hook tool for this. Download the roster by searching online or place the file that you downloaded from the link inside your "remote" folder, you need a roster file there that you replace with my file with the same filename for it to work and not go corrupted. Then drop the "Mods_97" folder into NBA 2K22 main folder, then enable it from NBA Hook tool after the game starts by pressing F8 and activating the folder, then restart the game for the theme to show up.

By the way i'm missing 1997 All-Star game court, logo and jersey files.. does anyone have them for NBA 2k22? Thanks in advance!

YES!! This is my favorite NBA season so I really appreciate all the detail you're putting into it. Are you going to add the rookie teams as well?

You're doing something wrong with the mod install. Please read the instructions on how to use NBA 2K mods in general

Finally got my hands on this roster and gave it a try.

Excellent work here. I love the way the teams look when put on the floor, love the lighting, the courts are fantastic, etc
