Sports TV broadcast updated

Hello guys, here I bring you the tv sports update for 2k22 of all the local tv of each team in the league and the two national tv, Espn and Tnt., first of all say that these editions are not only mine, are part of a great teamwork and creators who trust me to publish them and can enjoy them all who want and the more people the better, as long as it serves to have a better experience of the game and this would not be possible without the great work of bongo88, rtomb_03, ernel2014, zondac12 and those little tips when I needed even more geniuses great for me like ksmiz, sticky-fingers or TGsoGood and the great discovery and contribution that vetmin is doing with his thread viewtopic.php?f=272&t=113117
I do not want to entertain you detailing here the explanation of each file, for that I leave you the link of 2k21 where with images you can see what is each file viewtopic.php?f=267&t=110756
The only thing you won't see included are the scoreboard and certain Sports tv files such as Espn, Tnt and the two Raptors locals, Tsn and Rsn, since they were made by Karinge and Cujomatty. Of which I leave here links to their threads so you can download them and enjoy as I do the great and wonderful work they have done.

In this year's update you will see that there is a folder for each local TV of each team listed with the name of the team and two more folders for the two national TV that are Espn and Tnt, but you will see that there are several loose files because they are to put in the mods folder as they are general and for all teams idependientmente if it is national or local TV, and are these files.
animatedsting.iff (credits to vetmin for his discovery) and nba2kbreakshellendcap.iff that replace the animation that comes out before each game and after the best plays of the first and third quarter of nba and 2k sports giant for this next of the teams facing each other, to give a greater visual variety and not so much the 2k logo to give the greatest possible realism to the broadcasts.


appliance_microphonea_wireless.iff which I edited with the 75th anniversary logo for the halftime interviews and when the national anthems are sung at the beginning of the game.

You will also see that there is a new file that I had been trying to edit for some time and finally in this edition I was able to do it and that is to replace the 2k logo by the corresponding TV logo in the highlights of the first and second quarter that we can see in the studioshow.

Mini Tutorial

I make this small mini tutorial, in case it helps how to use the Looyh tool gui to use the different sports tv of each team or national tv, with the new system of folders that has implemented and that seems to me one of the greatest successes and achievements that we have had in the game. As you may have seen in the download, I have the files of each team and its tv.
separated by folders and with its corresponding name, because I copied them directly from how I have it in my main folder of the game.
game. The first thing I did was to create them with Looyh's gui and then I made the following steps that now I explain with images so that it can be as useful as possible.

1) I press F8 to activate Looyh's gui and the next step is to enter in rosources

2) Now once inside you will see that there are many of the folders that I put in the download, but in this case the first folder that is above is the one of Tnt, which will make that the game is with the retransmission of Tnt, because always the first folder that we put above is the folder that commands on the others.


3) now let's suppose that when finishing that game with the retransmission by Tnt and I play a game where the team of house is the Nets and I want to play with its local Tv, I would put the folder of Mod_nets as it is seen in the image in the superior position and I would lower some positions the one of Tnt, and thus with successive changes whenever we want to play with another tv, simply to put the corresponding folder in the superior part.


As last recommendation, you will see that in this last image for example I have a folder called Mod_2 logos future where I put some logos that I like very much and I place it in the second or third position, but mainly always above the folder of Espn when I do not use it, because it has its own logos and they do not correspond with the normal local tv nor Tnt and if I put other logos above that folder of Espn they would slip me in the other retransmissions.

Mad mad respect to you for the thoroughness & quality of this project. Those 1st & 2nd Quarter highlights wipes in particular look fantastic and are a great touch!! I'm glad I was able to help in a small way on one or two things, and there's a ton here you've done that I will have to learn from myself. Excellent stuff

You may have seen in my thread that I pointed out that your '13-14 NBA on TNT scoreboard works very well in 2K22. I'm actually almost done re-skinning it so that it looks more like the current NBA on TNT scoreboard (current TNT logo, flatter aesthetic, etc.). You mind if I share, with credit to you (and your co-creator) for the base file? I think most people use Karinge's TNT scoreboard, which looks fantastic and which most are probably very happy with, so I was going to just use my version privately, but I may as well share for those who may prefer it, if it's OK with you.

I tried using Rockets in PlayNow and also MyLeague with Rockets but does not seem to reflect in-game.

Thank you!!!!! This definitely made my night seeing this. Adds to the realism. Is it possible for it to automatically switch presentations to each team when picked or you just have to play with one at a time? I know it was possible for 2k20 and 2k21.

As you will see in a response to bongo88 a little above, I think it will not be possible to update them because the file that is responsible for executing them, this year 2k has completely changed their structure and operation and until I do more tests calmly, I don't know if it will be possible to do them this year.

No sorry, maybe I did not explain well in that part, first you have to create the folders in the gui with the same names they have in the download and then you can paste them to have the corresponding files that are in each one, and remember to put the loose files in the mods folder because they are general files for all sports tv.

If you PM the lower3rd from 2k22 i will look at it. I can glance through the scene files to see if 2k made the lower3rd easier to edit or harder to edit.
the 2k20 lower3rd was ridiculously hard edit.... about 20 scenes to edit.... then the waiting for the panel to popup and view changes. I never did a great job on those mods.
Maybe 2k has consolidated the panels into one or two scene files.

anyways, message me the file, and i will let you know what if 2k has made it easier or more difficult.

anyways, looks like 2k simplified/consolidated the number of scenes that control the popups, so it would be an easier mod.

not sure if the 2k22 lower3rd works with 2k20 or 2k21. i would have to re-download those games. anyways, if you test to see if the 2k22 loads/works in 2k20 or 2k21 correctly, looks like an easier mod to make than 2k20.

lower3rd_panel_generic is the only scene in the .iff that uses the logo_nba_64x128.267d5461c6c9c4ca.dds .... a good place to start because that loads the nba logo.

Yes, ok , as soon as I have a little time these days because I'm a little busy with personal matters, I will make a pack only with all the watermarks on the top left side of the screen, not only for those who play My Career, but also for those who by preference like it better on that side, I had it only the way I shared it because I don't usually play My Career anymore and it fits the reality, but count on me to share a pack with the watermarks in that position.

I agree with @blackthorne that most people (in my opinion) would prefer the watermark to be on the upper left, even for those who don't play MyCareer but normally enable the mini stats on the upper right hand side like me.



I will wait once you have more time and finished with your personal matters but this MOD is thank you!

Is there a Scripthook coming out the has the presentation assigned to their actual teams like I think you did for 2K20 which I LOVED!!!! Add so much to the realism of the game

now I finally understand what you mean by this as I was playing using NO Pelicans in New Orleans against 76ers. I moved Mod_3 TnT & Mod_3 Espn at the very bottom, with the assumption that local TV mods will take priorities, which it did but not smart enough as Mod_76ers is on top of Mod_Pelicans hence I am getting Philadelphia 76ers local TV.

I guess nothing wrong with this as in reality, 76ers channel may cover their team when they're away from Philadelphia.

So to fully control which TV broadcast to use, we have to manually increase/lower the positions of these mod resources via F8 before the game starts.

So cool.

Big props again to Santicruyff for this collection! Not surprisingly, since many of the included mods (particularly scoreboards and breakboards) were originally for 2k21, some of them are a little rough around the edges in 2k22. Here are some quick tips, and I'll post more if I find them:

- Breakboards: I've seen two recurrent issues with different boards: (1) the default-style scoreboard intro needlessly popping up before the breakboard, and (2) the actual breakboard intros animating in a way that's kind of ugly. Quick fixes for each:

• (1) Delete the entire contents of the main brackets in scorebug_intro.SCNE and scorebug_sparks.SCNE. This will delete those useless pre-breakboard animations.
• (2) In breakboard.SCNE, near the bottom under "Reveal", change ANIM_RANGE_START_TIME to 2.0 (assuming ANIM_RANGE_END_TIME = 2.66666675 or thereabouts). The idea here is just to start off the breakboard further along in its opening animation, since more often than not, if they look bad it's because the animation sits for too long on its smushed-looking, pre-reveal state. Starting 2 seconds in seems good to me but you could experiment by making it more or less than that.

- logo501.iff (i.e., the logo that shows in the panel during the national anthem and locker room): For some reason, the DDS logo -- if visually centered, like normal -- does not appear centered in the game, so to make it appear centered, it has to be off-center in the DDS. I made a TNT version here: viewtopic.php?f=272&t=113117 ...which appears pretty well-centered in-game to me. Just pointing this out because it's easy to use my DDS as a visual guide for getting other logo501.iff files properly positioned, if they're not already.

FYI to Santicruyff in case you might want to swap in this better DDS graphic into your TNT studio IFF for any future version of this TV pack: viewtopic.php?f=272&t=113117&p=2055883#p2055883
