No '13-'14 Spurs, Big Three + young Kawhi + amazing chemistry

I have them in my WIP 2K16 roster, and am considering overwriting the Australian team in 2K17 to fit them in.

Sticky, you know 2K17, I dont have a lot iof slots to work with, I cant believe I found out how to overwrite the euro teams a couple years ago and get them to 13 players (it's a real pain)

the selection of teams is already amazing, the "LTS" you provide too, but one of the best TEAMS (in capitals) missing in UCTR is a paradox.

So, I decided I am going to do the 02-03 Rockets.

Reasons:

A full season of Eddie Griffin
Glen Rice
James Posey
Francis the clear #1
Moochie Norris
Still has Yao, Maurice Taylor, Kelvin Cato and Nachbar

Once I am finished with them, I will move onto either the 02-03 or 08-09 Magic

New updates for the dornas:

I was watching the 1998 Rockets vs T'wolves game last night and saw this dorna. Tried to replicate it the best I could. So if it's in the game...it's in the game :



..was also watching the 1993 Suns vs Knicks (were KJ and Doc fought) and I replicated the 93 suns local dornas. So here's the updated Suns Dornas (the NBA on NBC previous dorna didn't fit well with the TNT theme and wasn't in high resolution either):

I went in and made 13 portraits for the 02-03 Rockets (Full body, removed Getty Images stamp). Only one not pictured is Terrence Morris.

Glad to have these portraits done.















Note: The attributes/tendencies/badges are not done for the players yet, but I wanted to get the portraits done/in so I could have some added motiviation.

I also gave DeAndre Jordan the correct look for 13-14 (Which matches his portrait). I made his hair shorter, and his facial hair shorter as well.




13-14 Clippers portraits. I only had to make one, as the rest were in 2K15 and good for that season.

Nice work Dee! 2k16 and 2k17 were huge for me to be able to export portraits and throw them in 2k20. Wish I had 2k15 because there were a few teams (2014 Clippers included) that I still needed year-specific portraits for that I know were in that game’s files

i have 2K15 but its quite a mess to look for files.

I have decided that as long as I can appropriately overwrite the 16 AUS team, I will put in the 13-14 Spurs. That AUS team is just like the euro teams, a team of almost all fakes.

A challenge exists with that 16 Teams spot, so I need to test things out before putting all the work in.

1. I need to see if I can I rewire the team in CE to say 13-14 San Antonio Spurs (or will it be stuck saying 14 San Antonio Spurs)
2. I need to make sure it is compatible with MyLeague. One of the biggest goals of this roster has always been to make sure all teams work in MyLeague, and at the moment they all do.

I completed all the portraits for the 02-03 Magic, and will start working on the portraits for the 08-09 Magic (I will TRY to get them both in).

Note: Technically, if we wanted an additional 2 classic teams, I could overwrite the 16 USA team and the 92 Dream Team.... just for thought

A few other quick notes

1. The 17-18 Thunder will be in this roster, as they had PG, Melo and Westbrook, and I already have them in because my brother is using them. Fun team to use.

2. It would be neat to see some new global attempts for this game, but I do not know how to edit globals on 2K17.

Keep the 92 USA team, do what you may with the 16 USA team (maybe put the 08 or 12 USA redeem team instead).

I made 13 custom portraits representing each player on the 02-03 Magic.

Note: None of the vitals/atrributes/tendencies/sigs are completed yet really, I just wanted to get some of the art stuff done.

100% portraits representing that season, I also renamed the team and made the appropriate logo.

IF I have time (Big IF) I'll see if I can get either the 07-08 Hornets or the 96-97 Hornets in it... and MAYBE the 97-98 Timberwolves with Marbury and Garnett.

Either way, I think a lot of these new teams are great additions and will be really fun to use in play now or myleague.

So, we ran into a snag with a few slots.

1. I can't use the 16 Australia or 16 USA slots, as even when you change the team name in CE, it doesnt change (Meaning it will say 13-14 Australia instead of 13-14 Spurs. So... that team slots are out unless I figure something out.

2. Three euro teams are unusable (U80pao, U102vb, U071efs) are not usable.

U80pao has a color issue where the number on the back is always Green no matter what, and the numbers on the front and back are different colors as well.

U103vb has an issue with in many screens the city name is behind the team name (meaning, it will say 08-09 Magic Orlando, and I have not found a fix.

U071efs (The Andalou Efes Team) shares a court with another team it seems with another team it seems (GIves me the 05-06 Lakers court), but the stadium is default euro, and I can't find them in cheat engine.

3. The 16-17 Warriors who are already in the roster.... the jerseys for them work, but only with the December.exe and my sync.bin, if you are using any other .exe the color of the number on the back is messed up, and even making sure that in the text file it says "colorize true", the issue still persists. So I have to decide what to do with them. They are being used in the U084bro slot on the euro teams... we have tried putting the jerseys in for the other euro teams to see if they would work and they have the same issue.

4. The college teams seem to be OUT, as they can't be used in myleague, it will ALWAYS crash when trying to enter a myleague with them, even when changing the team designation to 4 (classic team), for some reason they dont work in myleague. If they did, that would give me quite a few more slots.

So here is what I am left with:

1 free slot in the Euro teams that is fully functional
1 free spot (Timberwolves)
1 free spot (Hornets)
1 free spot (Raptors)

So 4 more slots to use unless I figure something out in CE, I have been messing with it all evening. If I can't figure anything out, we can go with the teams I have already mentioned for V3 (the ones I have shown screens of), add the 13-14 Spurs, and release.

The lack of slots is a bummer. If there were more I'd recommend teams that are super fun on paper, but not so great in the real world (Such as the '06 76ers in your earlier versions). 2013 Lakers and 2014 Nets come to mind. Also I believe the 2003-04 Mavericks had a pretty stacked team on paper (Nash, Nowitzki, Finley, Jamison, A. Walker). Great selection of teams regardless

I have not committed to adding anything in those slots, just an idea if I have time.

Good choices! I actually love that 95-96 Raptors team (it's also a good excuse to have Alvin Robertson's on the roster).

13-14 Spurs are in progress as well.

All players have accurate portraits reflecting that season, i did the team name change, all faces are assigned, and the correct logo is in. The court (Made by Manni for me awhile ago), and stadium are good to go, as well as jerseys.

Nice work, but still few corrections to address:

- GordAn Giricek, not GordOn Giricek

- Gooden and DeClercq are having 2003/2004 portratis, those were the jerseys Magic wore in 2003/2004 season, not 2003/2003.
