Broadcast Wipes

Hello all,
I know this was briefly discussed in a previous topic but I believe that was just for creating wipes vs a workaround or fix for 2k20 wipes to work in 2k21.
Anyone know if wipes will work in 2k21? I saw the network packages but the wipes are missing.

If you take the vcuilment file from 2k21 and put it in the 2k20 iff the wipes will work but the logo is real off centre and warped. I couldnt handle it so I'm just using the 2k21 wipes with the logos changed.

A couple weeks ago I told myself I would figure out how to make the wipes like Looyh did but got distracted by other projects.

I just finished what I was doing so maybe I'll give this another crack.

If I were to just switch out logo from 2k21 wipes like you mentioned, how do i go about that?

In the 2k21 gooeyoverlay there is a file that's called (cant remember exact name).vcuilment take that out and put in the 2k20 gooeyoverlay that you want to use. Like I said though it wont look great.

To answer your other question, just go to my thread and download my TSN network mod, find the gooeyoverlay and then change the 2klogo.dds to whatever wipe you want it to be. You could just take the dds from the 2k20 gooeyoverlay if you want(might have to rename it to the same as 2k21. )

If you cant find which dds file I changed, just click on the "modified" header when you have the gooeyoverlay open with 7zip it will sort all the files into when they were changed so everything will be the same date except the 2 files i changed. One is a SCNE file, dont worry about that. The other is the dds file you need to change.
