Massive Coach & Players Action Photo & player Headshot update (New Update 9-19)

Hi Everyone,

So this year 2K updated the player headshots and action photos. They did a mixture of cartoon looking MyTeam photos and real 2019-2020 action photos. I do not like the cartoon look of the action photos so I compiled over 500 Action photos that were edited by James-23, Raul77 or myself. I left any 2K21 photo realistic action photos as default as best I could. I fixed many of the player headshots in which their ID changed but 2K did not bother to update thus leaving them without one. I also updated a few players who were added after the bubble games started. I also updated all 30 NBA Coaches (used 2019-2020 photos) as well as many Assistants in game. I also added 2 alternate folders with alternate Head Coach PNG pictures if you want to swap them instead, along with over 45 Assistants from around the league.

I have included an easy dag n drop folder for all the players and coaches as those simply go in your MODS folder. For any PNG files you want to swap, you can use the coaches list included to match the Action Photo ID and change as you like.

**** Quick Note**** For any Generic Assistants in game that are on teams, you will need to update their name and CF to match the coach Action Shot on the default roster****

A few other lead assistants have photos scattered in coach FA Pool:

David Vanterpool, Wes Unseld Jr, Nate Tibbetts, Johnnie Bryant, Willie Green and I also added Chauncey Billups in there too.

I do need anyone who is proficient at Cheat Engine to help with a few Coach ID's that I do not know:

James Posey - Cavaliers

Mike Woodson - Knicks

Adam Johnson - Brooklyn Nets Generic Assistant

James Smith - Denver Nuggets Generic Assistant

Bryan Young - Minnesota Timberwolves Generic Assistant


If anyone can figure out these ID's that would be a HUGE help and I can update the Action Photos and add real assistants for Nuggets/Timberwolves & add photos for Knicks/Cavs. Steve Nash replaces Jacque Vaughn on Brooklyn and Jacque Vaughn moves to Assistant Coach. Steve Nash is currently in as top replacement as I overwrote the face for Mike Stauffer and added an action photo but you will need to change the name to Steve Nash and update coach attributes

Quick update to fix a couple players who were blurry or sized incorrectly. I also added a few updated headshots for players who needed them. Added quite a few new Action Photos for Players that look better than default 2K photos.

Hey Everyone,

I gathered all the Action Photos that I have worked on over the past month. I decided to put all the unused (And some used) action photos into one folder for release. These have been edited to remove Getty Images watermark and made transparent but have not been properly sized. I'll leave these here in case anyone wants to use them for their roster. Some I have already included in my previous releases and they have been made into IFF files while others have yet to be released anywhere. Hope everyone can get some use out of them.

Also, if you happen to resize them properly and release them on your own, please feel free but credit me for the original file if you do.....

There's not much else for me to work on action photo wise until next season begins and coaches sign on or players change teams. I'll continue creating action photos at that time.
