Texturing using Blender

Sun Aug 23, 2020 5:45 pm

Not even sure if this is allowed. But is there some kind of basic tutorials/guide for creating shoe textures using blender? I already have a Blender installed with the importer-exporter setup...Just wanna learn a better technology to improve the quality of shoe mods I make and share to the community...using photoshop eversince. I wanna make some True Textures made from real reference pics like the ones the Chinese Shoe modders make. Looks dope and realistic :fire:

Look for "Texture Paint Project" tutorials.....those are Starbury just created from pictures (early WIP)...not even close to easy need to master technique...but really fun to do :D

Damn looks dope bro!... I have watched some videos from a modder who makes true textures for NBA 2k14 shoe mods and it really looks fun to do..and besides, the quality makes a big difference when compared to traditional method of texturing in photoshop.

By the way, I see you're using a 2.79 version Blender, mine is 2.82, does the version matter at all?

Anyway, a big thanks brother! you've always been great in doing your crafts

the best bet is to do some tutorial series about texture painting in blender, it doesnt need to be 2k or modding specific as once you understand the basics of what you need to do, doing it becomes super easy,
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lmbAs9jE1vI i suggest this and also doing the whole series

Import the SCNE, and once you export it you'll get a new .model file to drag in.
