Nothing at all, unfortunately. Right now, all signs are pointing towards another year off for NBA Live.

As usual, the silence tells the story.

I was on their website and they're hiring for an Executive Producer at Tiburon. Graddy is the EP for Madden, he was previously for NBA Live. They probably have a lot of restructuring to do with NBA Live. Project Leet left EA and he was a dev for Live, so who knows what's going on.

If they're rebuilding the team, I hope they do it ASAP. It didn't do them any favours as they were transitioning from the seventh to eighth generations.

It seems like people are in and out of NBA Live, they need people who are dedicated to rebuild the game. Not saying that the past teams weren't, they just need everyone on the same page.

A good gameplan that they stick to without chopping and changing direction, and sufficient resources to make it happen. The lack thereof is what's put the series in the situation it currently finds itself in.

Yeah consistency would be nice. Of all the talk of legacy issues with 2k, at least they were dedicated and stuck with it even though Live was king. They had started to build something cool and I was honestly a bit surprised that Live 20 did not get released

I thought NBA Live 19 was a step backwards (or at least in the wrong direction), but skipping NBA Live 20 has hurt their momentum.

I agree 19 wasn't as good as 18 but yeah it was better than no game at all

Missing NBA Live 21 is arguably an even bigger deal. A year off to bring the game up to speed is something people can get behind, but two years off and continued silence pretty much erodes any remaining confidence in the brand.
