NBA 2K21 editions breakdown and differences

So this 100% confirms which platforms get which version.

Otherwise bonuses seem to be fairly standard:
5000 VC and 5000 MT along with 10 bonus MyTEAM packs for standard editions.
Current gen gets Lillard Free Agent MyTEAM card, a T-Shirt for MyPlayer and a watch item.
Next-get get Zion card, Jersey and Dunk animation package.

The Mamba Forever Edition bonuses are clearly aimed at people who will play on current-gen an then switch to next-gen when it comes out.
For 100 USD you get both games and bonuses for both.

What's more, VC and MyTEAM progress carries over within console family (PS4 -> PS5, X1 -> XSX).

Finally they do tout "new gameplay features" and "expanded game modes" in the next-gen. So... It's possible that the feature parity will be after all lesser than we thought.

Yea... No next gen pc version this year and i wonder if we get the upgrade next year...?

If 2k cared about their PC players they'd release the PC version with the next gen consoles. But instead? Let's have them spend $600.00 on the next gen consoles just to play it...

Don't you just love spending $530.00 on just a video card to play 2k20 with a changed menu for another year?

Well i Guess 2k22 will be next gen on PC,too. St least the last time we received next gen one year later than the console...

i think they wont develop a New game for current gen, whichh means it will be the exact same game as 2k20. if Servers stay up until 2k22 then There is no reason to buy 2k21 for me as long as they didnt fix any of the glaring Bugs.

They've been keeping the servers up for 27 months after changing the policy following the controversial shutdown of the NBA 2K14 servers. They also kept NBA 2K18's servers up for a few extra weeks, so I'm guessing NBA 2K21's servers will be up for at least another year or so.
