Looking for a file

I randomly stumbled upon the WNBA version of the background picture from the team select screen in the "gooeyfrontend.iff" file, but I've had no luck finding the NBA version, even after searching through every "gooey" file in the game. I'm assuming its buried inside some iff file with the name being something like "t_teamselect_mural....dds"

Unfortunately for how I wanted to edit this file, the WNBA version is useless for me, as the only way to edit the WNBA roster is in the season mode (to my knowledge at least), but this image I found is only present in the WNBA play now screen (season mode uses NBA version for some reason). Anyone have any ideas that could help me find what I'm looking for? Or alternatively, would anyone happen to know a way I can use the WNBA version (after customizing the design) and force it over the NBA version?

Its definitely the mural ones.im not at home to check exactly but what I would do is download someone's mod who already did what you want to do, open it and see what file they changed.

I tired searching through shuajota's and 2kspecialist's Chinese mod threads, but I havent had any luck finding a mod that edits the file I'm looking for

I think I'm thinking of a different file than you. I'm talking about the pictures behind each team in the team select screen but it sounds like you mean a different one. Can you post a screenshot? I might be able to help I've looked through most of the 2k files several times while looking for team warm ups lol

Its the part with kyire/ad/harden/curry/lebron/etc. that shows up behind the players when you go to select a jersey before a game

I think the NBA Mural is part of the actual Main Menu Environment. The File is S850 or S851 if I can recall correctly. It can maybe get changed through that file but i'm not sure.
