Well just like you said. Deleted the sync.bin, downloaded it again and just downloaded the 1993 roster and with no problem got the roster. One thing though. How can i download the roster to have it offline so when the time comes that 2k disconnects the servers i can still have this roster? Thanks for everything

As long as you keep the roster downloaded you should be fine, but we will eventually upload and offline version when the servers shut down (Y)

I downloaded this last weekend and it's been a real joy -- playing an alternate version of 1993 in MyLeague, where Jordan didn't retire (he lost to the upstart Nets and Petrovic in the ECF in 7) and the league saw a new champion (Utah, of all teams!) win the Finals.

A question for the creators: is it possible to unlock the non home/away uniforms for the teams in the mod? I'm rolling with the Magic for now and would like to roll out an alternate or two every now and then. I was wondering if using a different manifest file and exe other than 1.06 would do it, but I was afraid I'd mess up the other changes in the mod. I figured it'd be better to ask before I wreck anything.

Thank you for the answers in advance

Thanks and we love this era too. As for the jerseys, it is possible to enable the jerseys but we decided to remove them as they're not very accurate and weren't available at that time (the blue alternates didn't come until the 1994-95 season). The process of re enabling them can be difficult as you would have to dabble in cheat engine roster editing, which isn't ideal if you don't have any experience.

I would say your best bet is to find the blue alternate files using the 2K17 explorer and rename them so that they replace the jersey files used by our roster.

This is the 2K17 explorer in case you don't have it:
NBA 2K17 Explorer

Keep in mind to properly load archives you will need to have v1.08+ exe and manifest files in your directory. I'm not sure which archive the Orlando Magic files are stored in but if you load up all of them you will eventually find it. Once you find the blue alternate files, you will need to export them and rename to the names of the files being used in the game.

As of right now the 1992 and 1993 seasons use the jerseys files named:

Home:
u016orl_1990_home.iff (stored in Modded)
clothing_resource_016_orl_1990_home_font.iff (stored in Modded/clothing)
clothing_resource_016_orl_1990_home_tweak.iff (stored in Modded/clothing)
u016orl_1990_home.iff (stored in Modded/frontend_uniforms) (not necessary)

Away:
u016orl_1990_away.iff
clothing_resource_016_orl_1990_away_font.iff
clothing_resource_016_orl_1990_away_tweak.iff
u016orl_1990_away.iff

Personally I would replace the away jersey files but its up to you. If you have any questions be sure to ask and hopefully we'll be able to help out.

coolbreeze24 wrote:@PeacemanNOT, Is there a way I can use the Dream Team and the Select team jerseys for the Rising stars game (USA vs World)?

I threw rookie Kobe on the select team with a few others. It's impossible to defeat the dream team with only eight guys.

If you can find out the names of jersey files being used by the USA/World teams, then you can make a copy of the dream/select team's files to rename and use for USA/World. As of right now this is the name of the files that are the Dream/Select teams use:

clothing_resource_u870ch1_current_home_tweak.iff (stored in Modded/clothing)
u870ch1_current_home.iff (stored in Modded/frontend_uniforms) (not necessary)

Away:
u871ch2_current_away.iff
clothing_resource_u871ch2_current_away_font.iff
clothing_resource_u871ch2_current_away_tweak.iff
u871ch2_current_away.iff

Home Practice:
u872ch3_current_away.iff
clothing_resource_u872ch3_current_away_font.iff
clothing_resource_u872ch3_current_away_tweak.iff
u872ch3_current_away.iff

Away Practice:
u873ch4_current_away.iff
clothing_resource_u873ch4_current_away_font.iff
clothing_resource_u873ch4_current_away_tweak.iff
u873ch4_current_away.iff

Good luck and also thanks for the screenshots (Y)

Whew, yeah, that's quite a dive for me -- I'm not overly familiar with modding 2K, so I think for the sake of my sanity and avoiding messing up the gorgeous mod you guys have put together, I'll just live with the classic jerseys. The Magic's home/away beginning jerseys were straight fire anyway (seriously, probably among the top if not THE top expansion franchise jersey of all time, such a good design). Thank you for taking the time to lay all that out there, if I get braver later I might try to swing that. Until then, I'll enjoy what's there happily. :)

That's unfortunate. I'll tell you what, give me a little while and I'll send you the alternate uniforms so you can replace them with the away ones.

Ok, here's the 1995 blue jersey:

https://www.mediafire.com/file/wxmcyxi3 ... ey.7z/file

Just place the files that are in the folder "Blue (1995)" into your Modded folder and it should work. I put in the black jersey too in case you want to revert back. Be sure to send screenshots

Oh wow, thank you! I will add these in when I get off work and take some screenshots. Alternate 1993 is an interesting place right now. :)

After falling to the Bulls, I decided to see if I can get the Hornets to the promise land. Alonzo Mourning is a joy to play with.

Stildo33, Thanks for the mod, its one of the best i've seen in years.
I'm a little ocd, so i'm trying to edit some things to my liking, i've managed to edit the number of championships the teams had at that time, bulls from 6 to 2 , rockets from 2 to 0 and so on.
My question is, is there a way to edit the year on the schedule from 2019 to 1993 ?

thanks for everything

Thanks for the kinds words! That is AWESOME on the number of championships too! I'd also love to be able to edit the all-time stats according to where those were back then too!

Does anyone else get all black t shirts in the playoffs?

I downloaded some stuff last year but deleted everything and did a clean install. I suspect that my Steam cloud files might have been downloaded for this install.

Hey man, the reason the fans have all black in the playoffs is actually intentional... otherwise the fans would be wearing all white which wasn't very accurate for the time. There is no way to turn off playoff shirts as far as I'm aware, but if you're interested in bringing back the white shirts hit me up and I'll try to change it for you. Sorry about that.

Hey ya'll great mod! I used to do modding for the NBA 2k11 1992 season mod (with a user named Aloncho/Alonso something, I can't recall) and am happy to see NBA 2k19 has this great 1992/1993 mod, which was the reason I bought this game after not playing games for about 8 years now.

I have a question concerning "fiddling" with this mod as I was out for so long. Back with NBA 2k11, modding court colors was a big question mark and a nightmare until someone "cracked the nut", so with NBA 2k19 and in particular this mod: I have a suggestion, or would do it myself:

I would like to replace the current Toronto Raptors logos with their 1996 one, as well as the court + jerseys (I know these files are basically already available somewhere in the game if I'm not mistaken?), furthermore I would do the same with the Memphis Grizzlies to turn them into the Vancouver Grizzlies. Concerning the New Orleans Pelicans, I would give them a San Diego Conquisadors or Oakland Oaks treat, I'm aware those were ABA teams but I'd still go for it.

Would fiddling with these teams affect the mod?

This is a good idea and is actually something I personally was thinking of doing. This would allow you to eventually use them for future seasons on MyLeague. If we come around to it, we'll implement it. Thanks for the suggestion (Y)

You're downloading the wrong links for the latest version! I recently deleted the 1992 season mod files as they're no longer used and are just taking up space on our mediafire. Please download from here and make a completely new modded folder:

Stadium editing has been done between mickachiste and myself. For the baskets you just copy the baskets.scne file and everything attached to it (textures, models, shader files, script files etc.) then you put it into the stadium file you're editing.

This is the same for any scene file. For arena.scne and items.scne you can include new models as long as you implement the proper coding that's needed for those models, as well as following the code syntax that is needed. If you want to know more I can give a detailed explanation in a pm or something.

A couple of months ago I decided to take on a hefty project of editing stadiums in the game to fit the time period more as well as to have a consistent national TV presentation. I got sidetracked as my GPU gave out. Stadium editing is such a painful process of constantly going in and out of the game making sure everything works. Using blender only gives you so much feedback as to what your edits will look like in game. On top of all that there's constant crashing and debugging involved with any edit you make. Needless to say we would appreciate any contribution. Here's some examples of I myself did:
