NBA 2k17 Explorer working??

Question about 2k17 explorer.

It was working a little bit when I first got the game. What I mean by that is it would open some of the archives but wouldn’t load everything in them. Now it only loads 2 files out of only one of the archives. I’ve seen people say 2k17 explorer works for 2K20 and some say it doesn’t work at all.

I’m assuming it must work for some people as they seem to be extracting cyberfaces to work on. I’d like to work on the pregame presentations and I have some cyberface things I’d also like to do but I can’t extract anything.

I guess im trying to get a general consensus from others so I can decide how much effort I should be putting into getting it to work. Is there another program to extract files?
