Pretty sure it's an exe thing. SYNC.bin in when an file is being overwritten, while the exe is actually forcing data and info to change in rosters when it is loaded (no matter the game mode, mycareer, myleague, play now, edit roster etc.)
So team colours are being overwritten as well? What about team names and other info like that? If that's the case then roster editing is extremely limited for 2K20.
I will test that issue with team names this evening and will give feedback.

Ok bro, I found a way to make the secondary team color the same texture as main team color, I can swap out the home team color for the secondary one now you want that?

Each player has the area that I highlighted. However, regular players are NORMAL and not generated. Created players are CREATED and generated.
I changed those two fields for the created players and it works 100%, they never use the nickname anymore.

Is that the one i originally posted? The nickname thing def works but there were too many other cells that were off so i took it offline to work on some stuff

A lot of the edit player stuff works but there is a lot that isn't in the right spots so I would rather take more time to get it right

Sorry if I am not understanding, are you saying that you are moving on from team type or it's not possible?
I think possible, as the "all time" and "year name" parts of the name are stuck there.
Ill see if I can figure it out plugging things in for the meantime.
he's saying he has the team data covered and to move onto looking into different areas. im sure he will post that table soon.

what I mean is that of the team type choices there are 2 additional options this year which are WNBA and DECADE these won't show up and they are binary values anyway so you'll see what I am saying with this table
pretty much the majority of stadium and team stuff is done and will just need a few more specific fixes after people use the table and tell me what happens or if something doesn't work
team data stuff was just shifted down +200 to add +100 for mural logo and +100 for alt wm logo so that was an easy fix but toward the end a lot of values were shifted -4 so I think I got most of that worked out but will only know when people put it to use
it is just taking a while for my computer to copy the values - this table might be too big already will probably have to split off the section but I would have to wait again to copy that over if I do it now

I think this was one of the weird things I noticed before when messing with scoreboards like editing something wouldn't work but then after you changed the name of it or what it was then the edits would show
I think I saw that looyh renamed some stuff so I tried replacing my username in place of a file or something and just making a change to it allowed the other changes to be applied that wouldn't work before. It feels like some of the images are cached in a way or something like that I'm not sure what would actually cause something like that

I say that it is at a specific time because after you set up a game say 76ers vs Bucks and you look at the previews of jerseys and acc colors that screen...
you can swap out jersey addresses and lock in those values by pressing the x and they will load so the game takes what is written and doesn't crash or anything trying to force an option because it had already assumed the injected code was done as intended

I thought of trying the idea suggested by BLY before to use limnono to have it already load by default but based on BLY's experience it will not be the solution we are looking for
I think this code overwrites the rosters with data from the default sync.bin roster but at what times do we know that? Does it do it every save of rosterdata or every load of rosterdata before gameplay or both? Let me know what ideas you are trying with this
