Thanks for addressing the playoff error. I updated the main page with that and the work around.

Posting some game play here from Myleague regular season. Playing with Celtics. McHale had a career night as a 6th man with an amazing FG% against a weak interior defense. Celtics hold out for the win despite an onslaught of dunks from Kemp. I also made a couple of trades for guys off the bench to match my style of play. I traded for Richard Dumas (who is out with an injury this game) and Danny Ainge for some shooting off the bench....and I loved him in Boston back in the day. Bird was out with an elbow injury this game. Could've used his 30+ pts.

* - I don't use the modded version of GP (with hair).

Highlights from game 10 of the 29 game season. This one was against the Knicks, who was without an injured Patrick Ewing. He is out 6-8 weeks with a broken ankle. This made for an easy win against Boston's superior interior offense and defense. An aging McHale and Parish returned to old form in the scoring and rebounding columns. Just like in 1992, they were more role players than the all-stars of the 80s.

My goals for this team are to: win title, Bird MVP and make all-star team, Lewis make all-star team, McHale with 6th man of the year.

The trades I made to acquire Ainge and Dumas so far appear to be helping as I have more athleticism off the bench at the SF/PF positions with Dumas and Ainge can stretch the floor. I don't use Rick Fox much as he couldn't shoot in 1992. Outside shooting was a major weakness for this team aside from Bird.

Celtics highlights from the 14th game of the season. Since last highlights (Knicks game) Celtics went 3-1 after putting away the Hornets.

I'm using the pelicans in my 90's my league. Basically for custodial purpose. Seeing that they don't draft good players, and sign good ones. That way I can play with any team I want during the season. Some times i'll select a team and play the entire month, the switch up. Often i'll play games that are on Sunday's to give it that NBA on NBC feel.

Season 2 saw the Knicks take the title..Patrick won the MVP and Finals MVP...The Pistons won the first year.

This is awesome! Did you play consecutive seasons or start over each time? Ewing is a BEAST on here (so is Robinson).

Yep, all my league games. Another "house rule" or method that I use is during the playoffs, I play the lower seeds. I try to create memorable moments in my 90's universe so to speak.

That's awesome! I am just playing with the Celtics. From time to time, I will play a game with another team just for fun. I basically let life "unfold" within the game: trades, injuries, etc. I also make the NBA trade settings difficult so I have to give up a lot usually to make a trade.

More Myleague gameplay. I have some highlights of the Rockets game here. Hakeem was unstoppable, but the rest of the Rockets were not. You will see some smothering D by the Celtics in the 4th quarter against The Dream. He got some good shots off, but couldn't drain them...no thanks to a pesky double and triple team. Bird continues to fly high while Lewis continues his quest to make his first all-star game ever.

Great footage! I love how passionate you are about this specific season.

Sorry I couldn't help with the roster more, I'm happy that all the faces I made are being used, but I wish that I had the time or was more invested in it. At the time, I was super busy, and that was followed by my realization that I didn't enjoy 2K19 nearly as much as 2K17.

keep it up, hope to see you modding on 2K20.

@Dee4Three Thanks man! I don't know why I liked this season so much. I think because it was Larry's last, Reggie was an all-star, McHale & The Chief had days of vintage while Dee was running, dunking, jacking threes. Bulls were peaking, Blazers were great, Suns got Charles the next year, Centers were amazing, Pacers had Reggie and Chuck. It was the 90s!

Ever since NBA 2k14 mods came out, I've always wanted to play through decades. Those rosters always crashed for me after a couple of seasons. I am playing this 1992 season out and moving on to 93 (although I'll probably start an entire new series when we are done with that roster).

PS - when you going to jump over to NBA 2k19? I still love 2k17, but 19 plays so well. :)

Certainly a great year. I can't tell you how many times I have watched the Portland vs Celtics game where it went to overtime and Bird had a 49 point triple double. He could barely move and was still cooking opponents.

In regards to switching, that won't be happening with 2K19. If 2K20 is awesome I will switch and start modding it like 2K17. With 2K19, I just couldn't get past the player movement issues. But, different strokes for different folks, I am just glad that you and others are getting some retro enjoyment out of it.

Decided to start another My League. This time with the 92,93, 94, 95 draft class. Similar to you Stildo, I let the league run it's course with transactions. I only draft for all the teams so the players start with their original team. Happy I did. :D :D

It took about 8 years of NBA 2K games, but I'm so proud of you guys for finally being the ones to kill the Sneaker/Sock Color issue for 90's mods. No team color shoes. No black socks. No black home sneakers (except for Celtics) Thank you!

Yeah that IS huge! I still think it was odd the Celtics, of all teams, had the black shoes back then, but they did for years. I can't take the credit for the socks though. Believe that was Mickachiste or PeacemanNOT.

@Coolbreeze24 - can you post who won MVP, ROY, etc., whenever you complete a season? Love seeing how the game has evolved.

What is the recommended way to install this side-by-side with the regular version of NBA 2K19?

I have a MyLeague I play that I want to continue, but I would love to install this and maybe start a MyLeague in 1992.

You can completely install this and still play normal myleague. I do the same thing. :)

The uniforms and court changes for example are specific to the roster file. Post some screen shots or videos!
