could be pretty neat at the top of the screen in HD. Of course, gonna have to take a few liberties due to the low image quality. those old crt tv's and monitors of the early 2000s were pure magic. there's actually a thread on the hardforum displays section (400 pages long, lol) about people still buying/using crt monitors nowadays.

might start working the texture. attaching the psd just in case i forget about it or delete stuffs

It was made on 1920 x 1080p monitor. May not work perfect with other resolutions. I could'nt drop the scoreboard down further because of
different camera angles are problematic.

straightened the desk, and squared the room. if i changed the 2ksports blue led to red, and some texture work. It could be possible, or close to possible.

I had a much more complete/complicated psd file, sadly, i had done some layer merges, then overwrote it. Luckily I had this simpler backup. Suppose that happens to anybody who works with textures, lol.

Anwyays, Looyh always told me my mesh has to match the dimensions of the texture. Never understood it... I just eyeballed it quickly until it "looked ok"...

Here is a video about getting your mesh to match your texture so that the proportions look good ingame.

sidenote: notepad plus plugin to make editing scene easier:

It is a notepad++ plugin
Search for JSONViewer or JSToolsNpp and you should be able to find it

Got new internet provider in our small town.... new download is 20 MB/s .... needed something to download .... old download speed was 2 MB/s
Anwyays, got 2k21 free from epic last year... never installed it.... took only an hour to download 100gb... pretty cool.

Anyways, installed the old espn scoreboard... and the foul box was behind the scoreboard texture....


*furrowed brow* .... used to be an easy way to move the panels forward or back.... but couldn't remember and very, very sure i never wrote a tutorial down

search forums for an hour
finally, after entering lots of scoreboard foul text synonyms... stumbled on this old post from ksmiz (hope ksmiz is doing well)

ahh, can open a vcuielement in notepad and move stuff around, just gotta watch the bracketes....

*happy face* --> 3 minutes later, foul words are at front of scoreboard.



so, yeah, that's the tutorial to *easily* bring the foul words to the front of the scoreboard.... open vcuielement in notepad plus and move stuff around.
but yeah, i leave tutorials mostly to remind myself how to do stuff if i come back years later.

have a good day. uninstalled 2k21 after a few hours. just wasn't fun. and controller setttings wouldn't save... the controller settings are a bigger deal breaker for me than the bad gameplay. lol.

the scoreboard mods crashes after the halftime report beginning the 3rd quarter.
anyfix on this?
