-What do you plan to do in game for the 1st week?

Start working on my draft classes, have a look at the historic ones provided by 2K and maybe tweak them I guess.

-What modes do you plan to play long term? What do you hope to do in those game modes?

MyLeague definitely. It's going to be obvious to me that MyCareer is just gonna be another obnoxious pandering to their core kiddy audience with VC requirements spread around.

I want to return to MyLEAGUE this year. It's just a matter of picking a team, and perhaps waiting to make sure the rosters are updated and that there aren't any nasty bugs that may require a restart. Either way, I'll set that up fairly soon after I get the game. If I get hooked straight away, I may just have to keep running with the game I start soon after launch.

Although I wanted to get away from MyCAREER, I'll give it a look. The rest of the NLSC squad on PS4 are interested in giving Pro-Am a shot and seeing if we have more fun with it this year, so if it's not too much of a grind and the experience is pleasing, I might end up doing that in addition to my MyLEAGUE gaming. I'd also like to spend some more time with MyTEAM this year and at least complete the preliminary challenges so that I'm set up with some decent players if I do end up diving deeper into it.

I expect I'll play some Play Now games during the first week to get a feel for the game, test out some teams to use in MyLEAGUE, and basically form my gameplay impressions for a review.

I'll be purchasing it like I do every year. But I'll probably be sticking with 2K17 modding/playing, and playing Live 19 Franchise and LUT.

One of the good reasons to own the game is for some of the new art, because I can use it in other games.

1st week I will jump into some of the new features like player DNA (test to see if it's crossplatform), start a myleague to test gameplay and start creating rebrands, testing cheat engine, mod tools, and compile different file lists based upon the files listed in the manifest file.

Long term I will always have multiple myleagues, I will try to give mycareer ago this year, Also may try both story and no story MyGM modes after a few weeks of getting used to the game.

Test the CAP, give a shot at both MyCareer and MyTeam.

-What modes do you plan to play long term? What do you hope to do in those game modes?

I'd like to be active in ProAm but I don't have a squad and I am in PC. Probably I will spend the most time in MyLeague and creating DCs.

-What do you plan to do in game for the 1st week?

A lot of MyLeague probably, testing out the new draft format, making fictional draft classes like every year. Probably give MyCareer a poke, it seems to have a different vibe around it and I like the inclusion of a rival in Correy as well, It doesn't look like the shitty kiddy pandering like last years game was so I'll give it a poke or two.

-What modes do you plan to play long term? What do you hope to do in those game modes?

MyLeague, MyLeague, and MyLeague. Every year I play MyLeague and I don't think its going to change. If I like MyCareer then maybe I'll put more time into it, and some MyTeam probably I liked the concept of building your roster by collecting cards and plugging them in, should be fun.

I only play myleague. I pretty much stop playing 2 months before so the itch is fresh to play. Hoping 2k19 is at least improved form 2k18. If so, gonna run with it.

I would LOVE to start making retro draft rosters with people. I've always wanted to play through the 80s with Celtics having Bird as a rookie, so I may go that route. I also loved the 90s, so may just start around there anyway and play all the way through. I am guessing decent draft classes from 90s on.

1st Week: I plan on getting a feel for it and seeing if it’s what they say is

Long term: if it can keep me entertained then I’ll likely start a myleauge with one of the worst teams in the league.

My plan is to create a nba roster importing our cfs for rookies from 2K18 to 2K19 since I saw that is possible. Even 2K17 Explorer is working.
Also I will export all my FIBA files to 2K19 and I will continue working there in this mod.
A part of this I will start a My League.

I'm actually more of a MyGM guy more than MyLeague. I'll play MyGM no story first.

I'll test the generated draft classes to see if some of the legacy problems are fixed.

I'll be looking out for overall ratings of incoming rookies and if they match up with previous classes. My main problem last year was tendencies & animations not matching generated rookie's skills and positions, so that's on my list as well.

Oh and I'll check if MyLeague let's you edit GM's now as oppose to just Assistant GM's.

Bonus: As always I'll be the first to encounter that game-breaking MyGM/MyLeague bug that everyone will swear up and down doesn't exist, until it's finally fixed in patch #2 or #3.

Basically play some Play Now games to test everything and fine-tune sliders if necessary.

-What modes do you plan to play long term? What do you hope to do in those game modes?

MyLeague absolutely. It's the only mode I play for years. Perhaps I'll take a look to MyCareer, but for sure my 10-years son will be more interested than me on that mode.
This year I'll take the Sixers or the Suns.

Playnow games, test out some features in mygm and my league.

Myleague probably with Magic or Knicks. Want to stick with one and rebuild.

Will create one retro roster, looking at either a remake of my 2001-02 roster, or another one I'm liking is 06-07 and finally 2014-15.
