Look, in the last two months, I played nba 2k13. I installed 2k14 like three weeks ago; for some reasons.

2k13 is a pretty nice game, but you really cannot play some quality defense. You're gonna get posterized every single posession. Any shot you take that's a not very far deep three, is a 99% brick, guaranteed. Passes will go where the AI wants, and thats a big negative, long term. And something I hated, because everybody mods 2k14, you can get a lot of cyberfaces and stuff still, but if you want to play an associattion mode, its pretty damn hard to find real good drat classes after 2016. Its a great game, dont misunderstand me, I loved it, but I feel 2k14 is like the upgraded/better version. And how could I forget, 2k13 in my computer was 29 or 30 fps, with microstuttering. 2k14, since day one was 35+ fps, with no microstuttering, that could seem like is not a big difference, but believe me, when you want to play, it is. I really feel no lag in 2k14, and its on 37 fps. If you talking about the modquality, its pretty much the same mod, the only thing that I think it was not in the game was the Olympic roster, and the last draft class.
Wilt, MJ, LeBron, Kareem may be the greatest, but Scalabrine is the GOAT.

In another subject (sorry for the double post) does anybody knows which are the files of the gym court for blacktop? I want to replace that arena/court for blacktop with the sprite court that nba 2k13 blacktop's has. I really loved that one.

With all due respect, it sounds like you need to try different sliders or simply get better at the game. I don't have any of these problems with the game and Skoadam and I have shared replays of us blocking CPU dunks before. It's rare, but it happens. The ideas that you get posterized on every possession, you brick every shot, and passing is incredibly bad are simply not true with good sliders and when you know how to play the game. I agree that errant passes improved from 2k13 to 2k14 but, if the passes are that bad on 2k13, turn the passing slider up and the problem will be solved.

After all the updates to 2k14, it plays WAY better than it ever has before. That being said, there are aspects of 2k14 that I like more and there are aspects of 2k13 that I like more. Both can be very realistic with the right sliders, rosters, playbooks, etc.

0f course slim, I,m not talking about sliders, in fact I tested a lot of sets of sliders, and in both games, the ones that you and sko have are the best of the best, What I tried to say is that 2k14 is in my opinion, more balanced. Errant Passes, as you said, improved in 2k14. I'm not a bad shooter I guess, but in 2k13 the posibilities to score a deep three are waay less than in 2k14 (with the right player, of course) And , in the blocking thing, I have a nice blocking stat every match (I guess) but , I mean, in a real match you do not see a incredibly big amount of posterizers, in 2k13 you can, and probably you will. In 2k14, the possibilities to block a attempted dunk are better or at least, that the dunk attempt ends up crashing the rim and out. Perhaps I exaggerated the bricks, or the posterizers (posterizers probably not) but what I meant is that , gameplay wise, 2k14 gives a more balanced and realistic gameplay that 2k13, which, in comparison, I feel it a little more arcade. But, hey, thats my opinion. Probably I have to improve in the game, but as right now, as I said, I feel 2k14 is more balanced, realistic, and hell, an upgraded version of 2k13 (which, really, I loved). As you said there are some aspects in both games that are better in my opinion than the other, for example I prefer how you can attack in the post in 2k13, or dunk animations, etc. But overall , I prefer 2k14.

I understand. I probably read what you typed too literally. No worries. As long as you enjoy what you're playing, it's all that matters.

That being said, I updated both 2k13 and 2k14 2018 files to current ratings/tendencies and sent them to Sko. He's in Italy on business for a few days so he can't edit. I would think he'll update transactions, minutes, and rotations then release soon. When he does, that will be the official mid-season roster (until he does transactions at the all star break). After that, we'll release a final end-of-season roster as soon as the season is over. While we're waiting, I'm going to post changes to the 75+ rated players from each team from the 20 game update to the 40 game update because I'm bored and I probably like this stuff too much.

New big middle of the season ratings update is on the way. I missed 2 logo updates for Spurs and Pacers. I changed Spurs logo a little just to be more visible. You can see the difference on second pic. Looks good?

Looks great, man!
One question,just curious, how do you change/edit portraits? I want to know how to change some portraits of players that still have their rookie (I guess) picture , and changed a lot since then, like Embiid or Giannis, but I really dont know how.

Fantastic work on all of this! It's incredible!

I do have one question in getting this to work...

I'm totally ok with letting the CPU handle trades for all other 29 teams, and I only want to control one. How can I play an association with one team while also keeping all players at their correct ages?
I know I can use RED MC to change the ages of all current players, but if I do that the ages of any new draft classes I use will be too young.

Thanks for any help!

I'm totally ok with letting the CPU handle trades for all other 29 teams, and I only want to control one. How can I play an association with one team while also keeping all players at their correct ages?
I know I can use RED MC to change the ages of all current players, but if I do that the ages of any new draft classes I use will be too young.

Roster file have all players with -3 years, so if you will start your own asso or season ages will advance by +3 and all will be correct. Remember that if you will choose to control only 1 team, all Cpu teams will change their starting lineups to 2k default lineup system, which is rly bad.
I wasnt sure about draft classes, if you want me to reduce their age also by -3 just let me know.

Same thing i had, so i'm not the only one. I downloaded and loaded new 2018 ros file and still no new logos.

I re-downloaded once more and now it shows both Spurs and Pacers new logos. Hope for other logos updates too, but it's up to you of course. Didn't heard your reply towards 1987-2001 rosters release.

Funny, I tried that but the ages don't change when I start an association. They're still -3 in game. Anything special I have to do in the setup?
