You have to play ProAm, either team ProAm or ProAm Walk on to qualify. Guess what's not been working for over a month now on PC? So, doesn't matter if PC players are officially allowed to take part in the qualification, as they are not able to play these modes right now.

No surprises there. Most of the userbase is on PS4 and X1 after all, and the PC version is susceptible to hacking. That being said, it's a shame that the online experience isn't better on PC, to the point where it could be included in events like this.
Then again, the Pro-Am experience isn't that great this year. With the amount of cheese in the mode, I can see the eLeague being very ugly.

PC gamers are just second zone users for 2K

I have a feeling the professional 2Ker's will be really toxic...either way I don't watch people play video games.

Well, some of the amateurs are toxic enough, based on a few of the messages we've received while playing with the NLSC Pro-Am squad. I expect that attitude would carry over to the professional ranks.

Can we get a new thread for the E League ... or at least change the title of this thread
Tue Dec 12, 2017 6:18 pm
I'll just change the topic title so that it works better as a catch-all for League discussion.

I've been watching a lot of videos about this 2K league. Also I have been watching on twitter.
Today I found this video... very interesting point of view.

I'd like to see some of the evidence that's being alluded to, as I think that would be far more effective in exposing the situation than simply inviting viewers to basically do their own research. However, I would say that it's definitely not implausible, and as such, I wouldn't be shocked and surprised if that's the case.
I suppose that in all fairness, tryouts don't guarantee selection in any situation, and it makes sense that 2K would scout gamers of their own accord in order to ensure the league is as successful as possible. In that respect, the tryouts would just be to fill out the teams with talent as yet unearthed, arguably not unlike the real NBA. It's still not being particularly forthcoming with the fanbase though, and that tends to be 2K's MO; loudly and happily talk up the part people are going to like, while quietly mumbling the bad news, or the terms and conditions that make the announcement somewhat less exciting and appealing.

The logo does suck; it lacks personality. They should've at least put Kobe's silhouette inside it or something.

I'm slightly interested in making a 2K League roster for PC

While we await more 2K League news, I created a great looking court for the Raptors Uprising Gaming Club

I watched that video about the league being rigged earler. It is very entertaining.
I do think there will be a real draft but this entire league is a business move and each team is making business decisions. I never thought everyone would have a fair shot, hell PC players had no oppurtunity to even try
Mon Mar 05, 2018 4:43 am
Yes, it's a business, but they should tell the truth, not promising equality

I agree with your statement but I don't think big business is concerned with fairness even if they say they are.
Even if it is advertised as fair, it will only be as fair as the League owners and heads care to make it. This is year one, they have to see what works. This year they gave everyone a shot at "feeling" included which has backfired.
While I agree the combine was atleast partially a crapshoot, I am very excited to see what the 2K League will become.

Communication and being candid aren't 2K's strengths. They seem adverse to delivering bad news or information that not everyone is going to like, which is understandable, but I think most people would appreciate the honesty amidst the grumbling.
What I've been hearing is that the Combine was a lot of fun, and felt better than regular 2K Pro-Am. As Arcane and I discussed in the latest podcast, it speaks to the lack of balance in the Archetypes this year.

not agree

2K are solid in communication but most of the informations are bullshit
Tue Mar 06, 2018 9:43 am
They also have a habit of holding back bad news, or not being forthcoming with specific information. Even something as simple as the number of wins/winning percentage required to get to the Elite tier in 2K Pro-Am. They can't seem to offer up a figure, and it's happened quite randomly to people (including our squad last year).
