Audio seems a little messed up because I had a copyright strike on the intro song to the MyCareer mode....Jungle. So, used youtubes editing software to take it out and it seems to have messed with the audio a LOT. So, I might have to re-render the episode completely with just a voice-over and some non-copyright music in the background.....UGH!

I'm personally conflicted between playmaker-playmaker PG and playmaker-3pt shooter PG. Last year, I hated that my shooting was so bad, even wide open. However, it seems like you give up a lot for that extra boost in shooting this year. No HOF diner badge, -3 speed and accel, -4 passing and ball handling. All for +4/5 midrange 3 put shooting.
My belief has always been that in 2K, speed trumps everything, even 3 pt shooting. Is that still true?

Yeah, I went with a sharpshooting playmaker this year (Playmaker first, Sharpshooter second), and the boost isn't really paying off to be honest. As I said in the other topic, pure Archetypes are apparently still the best.

By the way, these fellas make it a science as to which is the best archetype:

I think so too. I know you've always had the same playstyle as me: PG always, pass first always. It matches my real life personality of team play, making teammates better, unselfishness. But there's also that somewhat selfish element to it: you handle the ball a whole lot and determine who gets the ball many times, even if you're not the one to finish the play with a bucket. I love playing with randoms who are used to people not passing and all of a sudden getting a pass whizzed right to them under the hoop - it changes the entire team's mindset and passing becomes contagious because they know they'll immediately get it back. It's the right way to play ball. The few 2k's when I've tried to make a slow big man, I never saw the ball in 90% of the games I played.

I know what you mean. You get to touch the ball a lot by default, so that satisfies the somewhat less selfless desire to be involved, but you also get the satisfaction of setting up teammates. I do like to score a bit as well and it was a goal of mine to average a double-double in 2K Pro-Am last year, which I did do because we shared the ball well. I take pride in racking up those dimes, though.

i play as a pure shot creator and they can do a little bit of everything.drive dunk post up shoot 3 be the point if needed.i tried alot of builds in offline mode to see what i wanted when they where fully upgraded with hight and weight and arm length to what i wanted and i decided on a shooting guard pure shot creator.love the versatility they have
