Some new Thunder vs Bulls gameplay (all time greats). Unfortunately, only the first 90 seconds or so are relevant. The rest of the video is some commentary and that old Pistons vs Bulls video playing in the background.
First 15 seconds and I see a CPU alley-opp in a situation that where an opp wasn't the obvious choice. Beautiful sight for my eyes.

According to the Audio, you can now choose which hand to layup the ball with analogue stick. *Groundbreaking* never been done before. glad they put it back into the game, haha

Yeah, it's frustrating when they announce something as a new feature when it was clearly in yhe prior game or games... ugh.

On the positive side, It looks like the skinny body type is gone, Dennis Johnson doesn't have it anymore.

However, I will agree with the person who posted that it looks like the game is missing a shader...

But after few videos, it seems also that pump fake vs CPU still don't work at midrange and at 3pt

im surprised no one's trippin out about my previous post. from what ive seen, the same fundamental defensive issues that plagued 2k17 carried over to 18.

At this point I just need to get the game in my hands to get a true sense of how the game plays. Can't wait for Friday...

One thing I'm starting to notice is the difference in the jersey models between current uniforms and classic/throwbacks.

The current jerseys have a lot more flow to them and look better on court, while the classic/throwback jersey seems a lot more static like 2K17/2K16. I hope the jersey texture mapping isn't different between both models, and I can just swap out the jersey model in the RDAT files if I want.

I know how you feel, it's difficult because a lot of the things I get excited for seem to fit into these 2 categories:

1) They were in previous 2K games and should honestly never have been removed.

2) Have been previously stated as having been reworked or added to previous versions and really never were developed enough or were ever really that noticeable in the past, so I shouldn't really be all that excited this time around. Mostly AI and gameplay changes fit into this category and are hard to fully judge without playing. And to be fair, they're often small changes that I may not notice unless I went back several installments prior.

Really would love a PC demo with unlimited gameplay time with just a single 5 minute quarter or something with set teams as they used to do with consoles versions (and may still do I'm out of the loop).

It uses PS4's symbols so I assume it's on PS4 and the guy has poorly setup capture card or encoding.

Still a fair bit of foot sliding going on.
And they gotta update those running animations once and for all. They've been stale for sooo long. Maybe create 3 or 4 different running postures for players to choose from.

This video is awesome. I don't know whether it's because of the new gameplay, or the new camera angle, or the fact that the user can play, but i'm liking what i'm seeing there

Ugh at 0:42.... 5 fakes on the 07-08 Nuggets and 4 fakes on the 11-12 Thunder. Those are two recent teams.... what a bummer.

It's completely out of their hands, though. You can't fault them for that.
