Talk about NBA 2K18 here.

KD looks legit

Durant's body looks like its custom made. The shorts that high, those long legs and arms. Curry's too. I am doubtful the number of custom bodytype's will be high tough, probably most legit and celebrity stars (LBJ, Melo, Durant, Curry, ..).
Also it looks like the really nailed Durant's face. It was about dam time. With the technology they have, I am still surprised how off their cyberfaces are (2K17's LeBron was a disgrace). That Durant gives me 2K12 vibes.

I like the all of those screenshots.
What I don't like is that players like JJ Redick that for some reason don't get scanned will look garbage again.
The face creator stays as abysmal as it is (Except they will add 5 new haircuts).
The european servers basicly make park and pro-am unplayable.
VC prices will increase again, making MyTeam an endless grind no one has time for.
And of cause the MyCareer story will be top tier cringe again.
Sorry about the off topic rant but I just feel like they are spending more time and energy on Marketing and PR than on innovating the game and it gets worse every year + the VC prices are unforgivable at this point

Durant looks very weird -> his shorts is very high, Curry looking solid, and Young looking better than in 2k17.

Turns out it was NIKEs design so they did a really good job on the jerseys for the first time

The uniform models in these screens are so superior to any other year, at early glance.

This looks really good. Both of them had awful body models, so it's nice to see they pretty much nailed them both.
And I can't quite put my finger on it, but the way KD's legs and shorts look makes it look pretty real.
Almost as if he wears his shorts at a different height than Steph.
And while jerseys aren't that important - since they're one of the things that get modded the quickest - it's still a good thing that they simply had to re-do all of them this year. No doubt we'd get lesser qualities jerseys if we had another adidas year.
We gotta get some gameplay soon.

These are probably the best ever uniform models that this game had since 2K11. Bodies also look pretty good, the guys don't have large traps anymore.
Probably they got the fact that NBA Live 18 are serious at competing, that's why we need more than one NBA licensed video game.

Screenshots are looking good imo. Especially Dwight. Loving the body models. And i feel like the glow of the skin looks more life-like. It's only subtle though. And i care more about how the players move more than anything. 2k17 their movement is so frustrating

First look at Fultz, I really love how much they've improved the eyes this year. But 80 overall, seems a little high?
Wed Aug 02, 2017 8:20 am
I agree, I know he is overall 1st pick in the draft, but come on 80? Really 2K, what are you doing with those ratings?
Wed Aug 02, 2017 8:29 am
if players look like that when i'm in Instant Replay mode i'll be very happy.
Wed Aug 02, 2017 9:47 am
Honestly, if that's the skinniest body type for this game, I can live with it. It doesn't look as bad as the NBA 2K17 skinniest.
It looks like Nick Young and Markelle Fultz share the same body type.

Looking at the screenshots, clearly the dimensions of the players are smaller, I feel that the graphics are closer to 2k14 next gen than the current 2k17. By the graphics and models of players, i think 2k18 will have a great impact on the animations and gameplay.
Wed Aug 02, 2017 2:12 pm
Wow! loving that Fultz and Ball screenshot.
and that hand gripping on the jersey adds more realism to it.
So far so good about graphics,
but what about gameplay and animations, when will they preview that? even a snippet will do.

LMAO 1st pick and they got fultz body wrong should have used DeRozan body instead

But still i appreciate

Just some interesting information:
An 80 overall rookie is the highest overall rating given to any rookie in the entire NBA2K history. For the record, LeBron James was a 78 overall in 2K4.
Wed Aug 02, 2017 9:28 pm
Good bit of trivia there.
Wed Aug 02, 2017 9:35 pm
Don't get too excited though, if my memory is right, rookies had their OVRs modified last year based on pre-season games. If somebody gets past the preseason with the same rating, it's only a matter of time before they get their ratings changed, probably with the first roster update. Brandon Ingram had his rating murdered in the first two weeks but for a good reason. I can't see both Lonzo and Fultz keep the pace for that rating because they lack the experience ofcourse.
Still, 80 is a bit too high IMHO even for a vanilla rating. I think they really want to support those opinions stating that this Draft Class is as good as/even better than the '03.

Am I blind or something
But why does the screenshots looks like 2k14 on PC or probably one of those modded ones?
Are they downgrading graphics?

That's actually wrong Derrick Rose was 80 overall in his respective year.
It's the highest since NBA 2K14 PS4. (which is why Ronnie2K said "on this generation")
