The lighting and ball are the first things i noticed. It's like they spray painted the ball with dark brown paint before the game. DD looks great, IT looks meh, PG looks lol!

Yeah they've definitely improved everything all round, at least with the stuff I was worried about anyways. Jerseys, body models etc.

It actually looks like they put a bit of effort into this year. Here's hoping they're will be no inaccuracies as far as the jerseys go. The lighting however I don't like, crowds look too dark and give me a 2K14/2K15 vibe with the over exaggerated dark lighting. Trailer comes around next month where get in-game footage, so we'll see I guess.

It's not just the body, but the size of the players as well.

His body is actually different. Look at his traps/shoulders. He doesn't have the jacked body type from 2K17 anymore.

Not saying its accurate, he looks too soft (yes I said that), the lack of looking like an athlete is apparent again, in my opinion.

Yeah, some muscles are missing, the style is cartoon, not like real life but is better.
The shirts are good, the dimensions are correct in every points
these players are point guard's players, so finally the model is correct.
I hope the jump shots and crossovers have been reshaped.

I like the tone on Embiids arm!

Same, his arms may be a bit small but it will probably look fine on the court. It looks like they've brought back the cloth effect on the jerseys too, this is good I just hope they're not too baggy like they were in 2K14.

Why is it that any time someone doesn't like something about a sports game, they just fall back on "cartoonish"?

I use terms like: Not looking like an athlete, or not enough tone, or skinny to the point of not looking like a human being. It's not all of us that use cartoonish.

Some of us really want to see the buzzword retired. Not mentioning names, or anything. :shifty:

New screenshot of Oladipo as well as their new jerseys. From the looks of this picture I'm not liking what I'm seeing to be honest. Looks way too much like NBA 2K15, shitty dark lighting. Plus the body models look a little awkward... what's up with Victor's neck? At Least the jerseys look good, they also finally fixed the Warriors shorts after like 7 years.

I'm the opposite. I don't mind the general aesthetic as much, but I'm not a big fan of those jerseys.

 They did Oladipo dirty with that neck. Pacers have the best of the new nike jerseys from what I've seen.

I didn't mean the actual design of the jersey, I meant the actual model itself. But yeah we all have our opinions, some people don't really care about lighting/graphics etc. but for me it's huge. The dark lighting just makes everything dull and boring.

Definitely agree, he looks kinda weird with that neck. And the lightning is definitely bad.

Weird how they still have that triangular cutout at the bottom. Doesn't look like it was there last season, looking at photos. Either way, I guess that thing should be right in the middle where the side trims meet the bottom.

I'm pretty sure that is actually accurate this year.
None of the arm trim designs form a complete circle are around the arm hole any more

Lighting does look most like NBA 2K15... but I can deal with that.

The defense and overall gameplay must improve for me to be impressed, period.

An overall basketball improvement is needed : AI, persistents bugs (reverse dribble loose ball, broken défense, scripted games)
