Nba expands rosters to 17

Looks like they are expanding to 15 plus 2 spots for "two-way" contracts to allow guys to hop back and forth between their roster and their d-league (or "G-League") team.

I guess it's a good way to evaluate talent without the need for a 10 day contract as it allows up to 45 days

Interesting. It does seem like it'll give teams more flexibility with the G-League call-ups.
