J.J. Reddick signs with the 76'ers

J.J. Redick, Sixers agree to one-year deal that makes a ton of sense for both parties for 23 million on a one year deal.

Good move for the 76'ers, they have the cash and they need shooting. It's also only a one year deal and they maintain cap flexibility for next year. Nice paycheck for JJ

The process is nearly complete.

Wow. He's a non-star and 34 next year!! Shooters get paid but you don't pay that $23 mil.

I guess they could be a big time spender but still... that's a lot of money. Also funny that they will max-extend a player who's played only 30 something games in last 3 seasons. It's absurd how much potential gets paid in this league. I like how they're un-Hinkie-ing everything now that Hinkieology finally might pay off.

Good veteran acquisition. The contract seems absurd, but NBA salaries are continuing to balloon, and I think it's something we're still getting used to. Besides, it's only for a season, so it can't do too much damage to the process in the long run.
