Departure of Kevin Durant made hero out of Westbrook while KD took on the role of a villain.

Can't wait for the comparative analysis of Westbrook and Durant's MVP speech that will come out from the media.

There was spirited debate about it, and it's probably not going to end just because he won it, but I think he had a strong case and it's well-deserved. He had an historic season and carried the Thunder to a very respectable record, given the players they lost in the offseason. Him carrying that much of the load isn't a recipe for great success in the long run, but it's appropriate recognition for what he was able to achieve this year. Hats off to him.
