This shit is real. Ainge has been eavesdropping our forum and made a big ass move to convey a pick for picks.

Not sure about Fultz but there's so much hype on that kid, shouldn't have been easy moving down to the 3rd pick.

I wonder if he's not done yet. Celts are in such a good position to become a strong contender with aging LeBron. Perhaps not 2018 but from 2019, who knows what shit could happen. I don't know some Celts fans were ranting about rebuilding when they're so close to being good. It's always easier to become great from mediocrity than nothing.

this will all depend on how it pans out. if fultz turns into a hall of fame player this can be the ultimate what if situation. however as of now i like the trade. i think we come out a head as i dont see the gap between 1-3 to be that big. really this is a trade where we wont know the winner right away.

Ha you wouldn't be caught dead saying that if ainge stuck with #1

U also have to compare the career of whoever gets picked at @2 as ainge traded 2 spots down

well i am sure ball is going second and there was no situation where the celtics would have drafted ball. i believe if by some miracle the lakers pass on ball the celtics will let him slide to number 4. really the only person i feel will leave a what if scenario is fultz. it seems like the celtics were considering not even drafting fultz which if true means they will get the player they wanted to draft plus a top 5 pick which has to be considered a win no matter how things pan out

That explains the guarantee that Jackson got before he even worked out for the Celtics. The one scenario we didn't think of was that the Celtics would trade down.

Why would ball not even be considered.. by you or speculation ainge wouldn't? You just mentioned picks 1-3 are close in talent

If PG13 is really serious about being a one year rental then it would be hilarious if he went to Boston for the picks...then left.

i dont think they want him at all. if some how he fell to 3rd i would not be shocked to see that the celtics made a trade with someone who does want him. i think they want either tatum or jackson and know that no matter what 1 of those guys will be there at 3 so why not trade down, get a guy you want plus an additional pick

i just dont see any situation where they pick ball after ball said he wont even work out for them

Ok fair enough. Do you still maintain your excitement now that Boston holds the #3 pick?

As talked about in the Lakers thread, looks like the team is going all in for Lonzo.

Lakers are big ballers confirmed.

All kinds of trade rumors before the draft. Even Lamarcus aldridge wants to be traded, which is funny because he wanted to be gone from Portland so bad because he was jealous of lillard. Now he deserves everything he gets

Man, I really hope Lonzo Ball makes me forget about D-Lo. I'm gonna miss that kid. Hope he does well in Brooklyn.

Prediction out of my ass: Josh Jackson is gonna be this years MKG.

Good for Fultz bringing something new to the stale gimmick of having something inside the jacket, Sixer future is bright.

i really am against the celtics trading for george. i am fine with it if we only give up a single bench player and no 1st round picks but that shit aint gonna happen
