They're also making comments about James Jordan's murder. Classy.

But we're apparently the bitter, insecure, overly-sensitive haters. Oh well.

i love how the word "hater" is used like a trump card. like a feminist that will scream "sexist" if she is losing an argument. of you have stats to back up why lebron is not the greatest ever? fuck that you just a damn hater. now i give lebron all the credit in the world but the conversation is lebron vs kobe and no one vs jordan

"Hater" has sadly become a convenient deflection of any and all criticism. Why come up with a counter-argument, or reconsider your actions or attitude, when you can simply say of your critics "Ah, they're just haters"?

It was worse with Kobe.

Lol then don't pay attention to the nonsense
This is like Howard stern. A majority of his audience were people that were offended by him but listened anyway so they hear the offensive material
Andy Kaufman would be killing it if he was alive now

Why does Marcus Smart shoot the ball like crap so much? He has got all the tools but of course he has to have the major shooting handicap in his arsenal.

Hey, as long as he's knocking down 7 threes in playoff games, shoot away Marcus.
But let's be real. We can't depend on him doing that on the regular. Hopefully we shoot well as a team tonight

Why not run early plays for him to get him in rhythm? You could almost see his shot form looks off after his first miss

I can agree with that. I wouldn't mind us trying to get him involved early to build his confidence and rythem.

Thank you for this link. It's so nice to be able to refer to that when the generation of now start that argument. Just, no.

It's a fantastic resource. As I said, a lot of research and thought put into it.

that shit was just brutal. i mean i have seen this move stutter the defense enough to get the score but kyrie sent him to the 5th row with this one.

in the finals we may again see a pick and roll to death with whoever Curry is guarding
cavs shot 71% in the 2nd half. nuts

Reggie Miller seriously must have someone in his ear telling him to say nothing bad about Lebron James. Lebron CLEARLY double dribbled on that post move on Jaylen Brown, as someone watching it on tv, we didn't even need to see it in slow motion to tell, it literally was the most obvious thing. However, not only did Reggie Miller praise Lebron multiple times about the move, but when they went to the replay, they cut out the view where you can see him carry it.
Reggie Miller is the most annoying voice (tied with Mark Jackson), for national tv broadcasts.

You might be giving Reggie too much credit there. I think he manages to be a terrible commentator all by himself, without a producer in his ear telling him what to say.

You could be right. He has gotten worse every year.

You know, while I obviously have fond memories and nostalgia for the players of the 80s and 90s, a lot of them didn't turn out to be very good commentators once they hung up their sneakers and transitioned to the booth.

Miller and Jackson hurt my ears. I love Tom Heinsohn because I am a Celtics fan, but I see why most everybody else outside of Boston doesn't like him. I actually enjoyed listening to Baron Davis when he was a guest on the TNT broadcast, soft spoken and knew what he was talking about. I wonder how he would do as a color commentator in actual games. Chris Webber doesn't bother me, and neither does Kevin McHale.
I feel like it's a 50-50 success rate for former players as commentators, haha.

McHale is pretty good. I've come to somewhat like, or at least tolerate C-Webb over the past couple of years.
