remember kids. setting a hard pick is dirty as fuck but trying to break a leg is A-OK
i find it funny when people try to defend zaza as people have been talking about his bullshit for years but suddenly he finds himself on the golden boy squad and he gets a pass?
Tue May 16, 2017 3:20 pm
That's something Popovich pointed out as well. He's gone beyond physical on more than one notable occasion.

I know if I were coaching the Spurs, I'd be like "you know, Golden State is a jump-shooting team, and pay back is a bitch. That's all I'm saying."
But Pop and the Spurs have more class than I do.

Nut kicking is also okay.

Draymond Green has defended Zaza Pachulia, insisting that he isn't dirty. And as we all know, we can all trust Draymond on that one.
Even Bruce Bowen has come out and called it a dirty play. When the guy who made a career of
impersonating Liu Kang and
targeting ankles calls something dirty, it's probably dirty.

i find it funny how its even a question. if this was clay i would write it off. steph or kd? i would write it off but its fucking zaza.

Not surprisingly, the Warriors are blowing out the Spurs without Kawhi. And of course, the league has said they won't investigate the incident. Way to go, Adam Silver. Way to go.

they only investigate if it means the series will go longer

See, now I hope Kawhi gets the MVP.
(At the podium)
Adam Silver: Congratulations, Kawhi!
Kawhi Leonard: Go fuck yourself.
Wed May 17, 2017 12:18 pm
It's painful to watch the Spurs struggle, now that Kawhi is out. Dang it I was rooting for them in the West.

I can imagine Leonard saying that with a straight face.
Wed May 17, 2017 12:20 pm
In all honesty, Kawhi probably wouldn't ever say that. Pop might.
Sun May 21, 2017 1:44 pm
Lamarcus Aldridge has been a big embarrassment.
Sun May 21, 2017 7:13 pm
David Lee also out though it would little matter or mattered.
No-Kawhi is too big it seems.
Is this team better prepared for the Cavs than last year and overall better team? Last year's GSW won 73 games but they now have KD.
Sun May 21, 2017 9:13 pm
The addition of KD has certainly given them more firepower, more than most defenses can be expected to counteract and contain.

i dont think it gets mentioned here- the defense he brings has been excellent. i would say the death lineup defense with him there at the 4 is better than last years

Now the big What If for the series will be if Kahwi doesn't get hurt and they don't blow that huge lead. Do the warriors wind up losing the series?

Would it be fair to call him an underrated defender? With his length, I remember him bothering Kobe in some of their clashes some years back.

It's not a given, but I imagine it would be more competitive at the very least.

no way. its a much better series but the warriors just have too much and getting beat in game 1 would have actually helped them as they have not been pushed at all until that point. as much as having pop helps in the end the warriors just have too much talent

Andrew
Almost cliche to say but "playoff" KD is normally great on defense. I'll let the masses decide if he's underrated or not. Maybe it falls under the radar because of the GSW offense but GSW overall is a pretty darn good defensive team
Tue May 23, 2017 12:27 pm
I suppose the flashiness and glamour of offense always overshadows defense. With a player like KD, you tend to focus on the scoring outbursts.
Wed May 24, 2017 12:38 am
A lot of us were thinking this could be the best series of this year's playoffs. Turns out to be the worst.
Wed May 24, 2017 12:44 am
Might've been a little better, if not for Zaza.
Wed May 24, 2017 7:07 am
Man, what a waste of a series. That first game was so satisfying till Kawhi went down the second time.
That Spurs front line of Gasol/Aldridge is painful to watch after years of witnessing the greatness that is Tim Duncan. He should've just laced it up for a game.
