So much hype for this conference finals match-up that I could wait until the morning after to make a thread.

No upsets, even in the inconsequential series, as the Wizards were K.O.'d by the Celtics. Al Horford, 0-12 against LeBron's Cavs in his playoff career, will hope to avoid the sweep if nothing else... But the Cavs managed to sweep a 60 win Hawks team without Kevin Love, and for a couple games, Kyrie Irving. I think Cleveland goes into the finals 12-0. Sorry Isaiah.
Cavs in 4

Time to get the broom boys! 12-0!
SWEEEEEP

I don't like the cavs but I think and hope they will wreck the warriors, assuming the warriors hire a hitman to take kawhi out of the picture.

Kinda odd to see #1 seed being treated as a huge underdog. Rightfully so though. Cavs in 5.
Wed May 17, 2017 7:26 am
I just want one win. But I'm going Celtics in 7 because...... home court?
Wed May 17, 2017 10:01 am
I'll say Cavs in 5.

i'd love to see IT go bonkers on this cavs team. maybe the Celtics spread offense will make the Cavs play some real defense.
would Lue subject playoff lebron to guard IT?

Another boring sweep...

Going 4-0 for the Cavs. Shouldn't be a difficult series for them. Some stretches of offense during the WSH-BOS series were a pain to watch.

They don't need to hire one. They already have Zaza on their payroll.
I can see the Celtics taking one game. But honestly I hope there aren't too many blowouts in this series.

Looks like we're headed for a Game 1 blowout.
Thu May 18, 2017 1:10 pm
Probably going to have two teams going into the Finals 12-0... That's wild
Thu May 18, 2017 1:18 pm
But also unfortunate commentary on the state of the league.
Thu May 18, 2017 1:41 pm
Yeah, I don't mind it too much as long as I have some game day refreshments.

Pass the bottle.

Forgot about this forum's great poll choices come playoff time.

Lebron looks so comfortable out there. He is levels above anybody he is going against. He owns the game of basketball right now.

Didn't go to bed to watch the game (2.30 am) - after 1.5 quarters I'm sure that I do not have to watch it till the end

it will be nice when the cavs actually play a team in the nba so we can see the full extent of his greatness

It's kinda amusing to see #1 seed getting raped by #2, not even close.
Despite there being record parity with conferences, clearly big gap exists in talent pool. Who is the second best player in East, Isaiah who struggled to get a starter role in West? Or is it Paul George who hasn't even made All NBA team? Perhaps Butler, DeRozan, or Lowry? LoL, kid me not. Look at Western conference now. Chris Paul is better Paul than George, always has been. Not to mention Leonard, KD, Curry, Westbrook, unibrow, Gobert.
