A week ago, it looked like the Celtics would suffer one of the most humiliating upsets in playoff history. Then, Rondo got hurt, Al Horford turned into prime Tim Duncan and the rest is history.
Now they face the Wizards, a talented but inconsistent team. I was tempted to pick Washington here, but injuries to their front line (Mahinmi, Jason Smith) neutralize their biggest advantage against the Celtics. I'm saying Boston in 7.

C's in 6.

Celtics in 6. I think the first two games against the Bulls were a wake-up call.
Sat Apr 29, 2017 1:08 pm
Going Celtics in 6 as well.

Seeing how the Wizards struggled at times against Atlanta I think I'll go with the Celtics, plus like Andrew said they've definetly found their rythem again after those two loses.
Celtics in 6

excited to see this series. i'm a little salty with the celts win but am looking forward to this rivalry. how insensitive would it be if the wiz showed up in black again. gortat and horford both cant guard each other. IT can't hide on defense this series.

Morris went down with a bad looking ankle injury, but he was able to make a free throw and walk to the locker room on his own, so maybe he's not out for the series. With all the injuries to their frontcourt and how weak their bench is, they probably can't win this series without him, though he's their weakest starter.

He's probably their x factor
Too bad wiz don't have a proper pf as his replacement.
inching closer to a IT max contract

HOLY... SHIT.... I.T.

And on what would've been his sister's 23rd birthday. Lot of skill, lot of heart.

Morris looked silly getting in IT's face, he has a foot on him. He's a bigger crybaby than I remembered. He was acting like this during the Atlanta series as well.
I am so impressed with Rozier, in over 100 minutes this postseason, he has 0 turnovers...... and he keeps making big shots. Jaylen Brown also played well. Marcus Smart was giving me a heart attack... he would make a stupid play (flopping and getting called for fouls), but he would get a huge hustle rebound a play or two after... I have such a love/hate relationship with Smart.
Being a Celtics fan, I am in heaven watching this team play the last 6 games (last 4 against CHI, and the first 2 against WAS). We are playing with so much passion/heart.
Also... my favorite moment of the game. In the OT, IT missed his defensive assignment, AND forgot to box out, allowing the Wizards to get a wide open rebound and put back. Avery Bradley was livid with Thomas, and was yelling at him right after. On the next play for Boston, Thomas got that basket and foul on Morris (Shot looked like a soccer throw), and Bradley helped Thomas up. While he was helping him up, Thomas looks at Bradley and goes "My bad, my bad", and Bradley hugs him. That is what it's all about, its what made our 07-08 team so great, that tough love. Thomas may have hit that shot, which was a HUGE one, but he still had that defensive mishap on his mind and owned up to it, while still on his back on the floor.
I am really hoping we end this series early (In 4 or 5) so we can be well rested for the ECF. Lets go!!!!

Those look like ft violations on IT. Just saying

Most screens Gortat sets also look like moving screens.
The bad officiating/things missed has been going both ways.

He's crossing the line before the ball hits the rim. Its a clear violation, not a judgement call
I'm fine with not calling travels, carrying etc. this is a clear violation of the rule
Thu May 04, 2017 3:37 pm
It's crazy to think that like manu ginobili, IT was the last pick in his draft. He was then traded because the kings didn't need a pg

I always said Isaiah deserved more minutes and a starter role in Sacramento and Cousins was overrated. Imagine if they kept Isaiah over Cousins, they'd be a winning team today.

I guess I wasn't the only one bothered by it especially when I scolded my buddy not to do it on that very day playing 21. lol

Blowout for the Wizards.
Kind of the theme of this postseason, actually.

they didn't have to choose one over the other. they could have simply kept him instead. do you think he's a max contract player?
hoiberg should have said IT was doing FT violations instead of carrying
im hoping the IT & his sister narrative can stop now.
Gortat is awesome. what a great pick and roll player

Glass house, Mr dee. The one and only Marcus smart is the true standard for flopping
Sat May 06, 2017 2:48 am
I've shit on Smart before for it, he is notorious for it, Mr. Gordon. I was just posting it because I thought it was amusing.
I am very aware of Smarts garbage that he pulls.
Sat May 06, 2017 2:58 am
For example
This garbage.
