I'll probably be disappointed, yet I'm excited!

Like the Wonder Woman trailer, it leaves a more positive impression than a lot of the Batman vs Superman trailers. It's refreshing to see a bit of humour mixed in with the action. I'm partial to Wally West as Flash because of the Justice League animated series, but that comes across as a good take on the Barry Allen version. Jason Momoa as Aquaman is some great casting. I'd say I'm at least cautiously optimistic.

trailer has me at maximum hype level. cant wait to see more of Momoa as Aquaman

Khal Drogo is a badass looking Aquaman.

+100.
I like the new version of Flash too. It seems like some of the heroes are getting younger. Spider-Man now Flash.

This was a perfect first trailer to use, it completely subverts everyones expectations, introduces all the characters while most importantly unlike BvS NOT SPOILING THE FUCKING MOVIE. Barely even hints at it. (Other than Snyder's statement that he's doing Jack Kirby's New Gods. Just with the Justice League instead.)
Also Brucefleck is all over it dominating. I love the aspect both in the last film and this where he starts off to be so serious and shit because of events in his past just to be surprised when people aren't affected and drop his act for actual confidence/personality. He had it in BvS and here with Diana too. The joke at the end is the same thing.
Using The White Stripes was fun too.
I wonder if directors are demanding more control over trailer cuts after the BvS, Star Trek Beyond, etc. debacles lately.
The one thing you're forced to do with an ensemble, and this shows in Avengers v. the other Marvel films too, is create actual characters who interact for reasons outside THE PLOT. Batfleck/Alfred showed how important this is compared to everyone Clark talked to in TWO ENTIRE MOVIES.
Also, I love that yet again, Batman is actually doing detective work.

I like how Ben Affleck in the suit actually looks like a comic book iteration of Batman came to life.

it may be temporary

assurances deces. I'm partial to Wally West as Flash because of the Justice League animated series, but that comes across as a good take on the Barry Allen version. Jason Momoa as Aquaman is some great casting. I'd say I'm at least cautiously optimistic.
Houra for the League of Justiciaries. This is proof that the super heroes are still boxing.
OK, I'm obviously going to delete the spambot account, but that post needs to remain in some form. Inserting a link into my quote? "League of Justiciaries"? "Super heroes are still boxing?"

I appreciate that spambot bumping this thread. It reminded me that the superheroes wont stop boxing.
Wonder Women was pretty decent. I think they missed an opportunity with the ending, though. I think the sniper should have sacrificed himself and destroyed the plane. You set up the fact that he had ptsd and struggled to do anything except sing through the whole movie, then you miss the opportunity to have an emotional moment with him singing as he flies the plane up to his death. Instead he remained useless and really didn't even need to be there. Not sure how they missed that chance.
Other than that, I give it a solid B. Good enough to give me a sliver of hope for this movie.

I'm disgusted that the link is in French.

Still promising. Still hoping it'll turn out better than some of its predecessors, though Wonder Woman has raised the bar for DC now.

I do like Jason Momoa as Aquaman. After his standalone movie, I think he could become the next big movie star like The Rock

I'm pretty sure there were early 2000's films that would have CGI'd off a mustache better than this:

Also, I'm going to pretend forever that the extra $50 million they added to the budget (bringing the film up to $300 million) was entirely the cost of erasing Cavill's mustache.
Sat Nov 18, 2017 12:07 pm
Hey now, Cesar Romero refused to shave his moustache when playing The Joker in the 60s Batman series, and that didn't dilute its undeniable brilliance.

John Travolta as Superman.

Looked like Cavill had Affleck's chin.
