They're no better, but bad heel commentator shtick like JBL and Graves really takes something away from the product.

As good as Backlash was, the commentary kinda ruined it for me. There were instances that all three guys were talking at the same time.

The CWC ends today, with the winner also being crowned as the new Cruiserweight Champion heading to Raw. We get a new title, too.

Looks good, and I get that they went on and had the belt in the same colors of the CWC but I would have preferred the strap to be black, and the plates to be gold. From the looks of it, the side plates are removable as well.

Not a bad belt design. Would've been good for a main champion instead of a giant WWE logo. But the cruiserweight division is a bit old-school, so they deserve an old-school belt design.

Glad TJPgot the win. His match with Ibushi was easily the best of the night. I'm interested to see where they take this on Raw and the other shows. I could see them booking him for a win on Monday.

Watched Raw tonight hoping to see TJ Perkins who they advertised but didn't appear on screen. (N)

Got a great 4 way match for the #1 contender and I think it showed that everyone else has to step their game up in the ring. I mean, these guys make the current "high flyers" look pretty tame

Bo Dallas looks like he's using the Cross Rhodes instead of the Bo Dog. He should call it the Cross Bo.

Smackdown has been far better than Raw since the brand split. CENA LOSING CLEAN AGAINST AMBROSE HOLY SHIT

No question about that. Smackdown has been consistently watchable since the split. Raw would still end up as a snooze fest because of the same style of writing and the three-hour schedule. And I think Smackdown's writer is NXT's former head writer.

Clash of Champions just... happened. :|

Surprisingly, the Cesaro-Sheamus match was the best one BUT IT ENDED IN A NO-CONTEST! :shake: The women's match was also fantastic.

Honestly felt asleep halfway the PPV and I can't wait for Smackdown to outdo them again with No Mercy.

I fell asleep an hour shy of the end of CoC. Worth checking back in for the final match or two? Sheamus v. Cesaro was good, and I wonder if that ending was planned or not. I hope it wasn't, cause it would be a shame to book that end to a good culminating match.

The CW Champ I like, but Brian Kendrick is awful and maybe 10th on the list of guys I saw in the CWC that I'm interested in seeing more of. I get that he's playing the traditional heel role, but he stinks, and there's so many guys who will put on better worked matches and are more enjoyable to watch; so I hope we see some of them vs TJ Perkins soon.

At what point does Cesaro just wrap his entire body in K-Tape and let that be his ring attire?

I like TJP's entrance theme (Y)

Despite being one of my favorite wrestlers of all time, Jericho had gone a bit stale but he's made a big resurgence with the new catchphrases and the teaming with Owens. Love the promos and mic work they do together.

Anybody else tired of seeing Charlotte win?

Now that its cool to like the new day, they're still cool but I don't like them as much as before. I've been hoping for gallows and Anderson to beat them for a while. Same with enzo and Cass. In nxt I thought they were OK, but now they're kind of annoying

Jericho has settled into an effective veteran role. He wins and looks strong enough to give people the rub when they beat him, but he's not holding people back.

Probably why they re-designed her a little for MKX:

I love his "IT" schtick. I also love the segments with him and Owens. Just pure gold.

I'm fine with Charlotte being champion, I'm just not okay with having Sasha beat her and then lose the title on Summerslam. I also don't like Bayley being placed on the title picture on Clash of Champions when they could have her built-up, like have her be the one to beat Nia Jax.

Gallows and Anderson should have won the titles way back in Summerslam. New Day's comedy schtick is fine, but I also think it's been going on for too long that it's no longer fresh. I think if they lose the titles, at least that would freshen their act up.

With Enzo and Cass however, I still find them one of the best talkers on Raw behind Owens.

I don't understand how Cesaro doesn't get pushed. He's a big muscular guy like HHH & Vince have wet dreams about and he's great in the ring as well.

Since they're so close to the record for the longest reign, I'd like to see New Day to break it, but after that, it might be time to freshen things up with them.

Just seen Smackdown, It's really a better show overall than Raw. That Miz-Ziggler segment on Smackdown is fantastic. Styles-Ambrose for the title is awesome, and Alexa Bliss is so damn hot.

Noticeably, there's totally no GM drama on Smackdown this week which totally works.

It's actually nice to see a show run without an authority figure pulling strings. I agree SmackDown was good last night. The segments were sensible and pretty well executed. Even the Wyatt/Orton stuff was done well enough to not be too campy and lame, although expectation would be that it'll ultimately just lead to Wyatt jobbing at No Mercy, and them still expecting us to buy Bray as a real threat.

Looks like we'll have a new IC Champion in Ziggler, but Miz has really grown on me with this IC run of his since the day after Mania. Especially the last few weeks, where he seems more authentic and himself. He's a good heel and enjoyable to watch. Never thought I'd type that sentence.

Admittedly, I really don't like miz but I guess that's him being a good heel. especially with the fact that I wind up liking most heels.

Heel ziggler was 10X better than the face version. Real Americans, New Day, Daniel Bryan, CM Punk, were all more entertaining as heels

Raw was good this week, I just wasn't a fan of giving Ashton Kutcher air time instead of other wrestlers that deserve it. The Sasha-Charlotte match was great. I'm thinking they'd have a grudge match at Hell in a Cell, and I do hope they make it a match with a stipulation, not just a normal match. The Jericho-Owens match was also nice, probably have planted seeds in a future Owens-Jericho feud for the title. Another gripe for me was that why would they expect Roman to be cheered where in the storyline he's in, he's portrayed as a guy that's an asshole towards another guy's wife and marriage?

Smackdown is still consistent post-SummerSlam. But I do find the Ziggler-Miz feud a lot more interesting than the World Championship program. The inclusion of the Spirit Squad on MizTV was fantastic, and they even made references to other incarnations of Dolph Ziggler during his career -- including the golf caddie character he did with Chavo.

I must say, though: I fear that my hair would end up like Baron Corbin's. I'm not gonna like that. :(

I agree, Miz-Ziggler is one of the better programs right now. Nice to see the IC title involved in a meaningful feud, too.

Zigglers promo last week was top-notch and probably a bit too real for him

Sasha vs Charlotte will be a HIAC match. I've been waiting for this day ever since I saw Tara and Mickey James on a cage match in tna
