Also, Kerr got fined $25K for criticizing the refs after the game (which is imo pretty dumb, but hey, Popovich probably has separated account for this).

I don't think LeBron is getting enough credit right now, but I'm inclined to disagree with that. I will say that both achievements are impressive in their own right, however. Whatever the perceived strength of the competition, we've seen many times that any NBA team is capable of beating another on any given occasion, and upsets/choke jobs do happen. At the end of the day, you've got to get the job done against the competition that presents itself, and that still takes drive, effort, and consistency. Besides, from most accounts, the 70s was arguably the weakest decade in league history, what with talent being in the ABA and all the drug abuse.

The mouthguard is now going to be put up for auction and, according to Dan Imler, vice president of the California-based auction house, the piece of rubber that used to reside in Steph Curry’s mouth could sell for as much as $5,000.

he sold it for sure, but he did foul him. it was a stupid reach in to even attempt with 5 fouls

Toronto doesn't play a pair of traditional bigs much like Golden State. (Biyombo is like 6-8 really and has SF-ish athleticism. Patterson is a stretch four and Scola was pretending to be one.)
benji wrote:A lot like last year really, only this time LeBron's got scoring backup so they haven't had to drag the Warriors into old school East slowdown hell.
36/13/9 last year, this year he's at 30/11/8.5/3stls/2blks. (And shooting much better.)
But we don't give Finals MVPs to losers anymore for some dumb reason.
NovU wrote:If Love becomes avail on trade block, he's going to be a steal after Finals performance.
Tristan and Lbj rebound well. Lbj and Irving have the ball almost in every possession. Someone else does what Love is good at on this Cavs team. He is going to be pretty good again on a team that have needs in his strength.
Having said that, it looks like this era's 5 entirely is about rebounding and defence. Otherwise other skills are much less important. Love cant play 5 for that reason. He's strictly a 4. Stretch 4. Probably not demanded as much, but there still gotta be many teams with needs of his game. Perhaps to the Knicks for Melo?
