I think it is quite obvious this was not released because it was lacking in functionality. Not a huge disappointment as it would seem. Very cool to look at however.

This is no different than your prior posts. The images you posted before couldn't and weren't going to be released, just like this one. You are proving our point with a post like this. My opinion, I still go with SJs globals over the one in this pic. That's if we are going off of screenshots all together.

I disagree that this topic degenerates or hurts the community. I think it actually strengthens it and unites it. It further strengthened the idea that making a topic that has mods in it that cannot be released (or won't) shouldn't be the norm. That its not cool. And that community feedback is vital and should be respected. It shows that the community won't put up with immaturity and big egos. You mention lack of respect, that's exactly what you have shown on this topic. That's kind of what prompted all of this.

You'll have to excuse the tone of this post, but I like to think I speak on behalf of certainly a solid group of individuals, and certainly not everybody, when I say, great, I don't care. Enjoy it. I hope you have a great time with it.

If you're looking for uplifting praise, and are fishing for compliments, which has been abundantly clear for the entire duration of your tenure within this particular forum, you're missing the point entirely. You were given some constructive feedback that was, in no way, mean, critical, disrespectful, or inappropriate in nature, and you have since thrown a hissy fit like a spoiled seven year old. That's essentially what has happened here.

Now, if that makes you want to take your ball and go home, by all means, please do so. But posting a screen with a caption indicating "look at what you'll never have, because you hurt my poor little feelings" is pathetic. If you are over age 16 you should be grossly embarrassed, and even if you're younger than that, you should still be embarrassed. It's laughable behavior, even by internet standards.

Get over yourself. There's an unbelievable wealth of modders within the walls of this web site. There have been for over a decade. There will continue to be. Whether you released mods here or not. Yes. I know, right? It's a wild thought. There have been modders who dwarf you in terms of ability who have left this place, yet here we remain, strong as ever, releasing amazing work across games, breaking down barriers, etc.

I assure you, while we would love to have you as a contributor here, nobody's going to light a candle and hold a vigil if you pack up and head out. Just don't cause such a ruckus on your way out to try and get attention. Fill your desperate need for praise some other way. Go hug somebody. Call your mom and tell her you love her. Whatever works. But if what really gets you going is watching strangers on the internet react negatively to you refusing to release a mod, you're a sad, little boy, and I hope one day you grow out of it.

I have left this unlocked, because, largely, with exception of the original poster, I think there was a lot of productive, helpful, rational conversation happening. Read back through. There's good feedback, good comparison, and healthy conversation. Certainly nothing problematic, aside from the absurd reaction from totalrebound, and a few posts here and there.

If I lock the thread, that only furthers totalrebound's self-loathing "man, they are out for me, I am not well liked " pity party, and another excuse he can roll off as to why he doesn't release his mod. If things go way off the rails, I'll do what is necessary, but for now, most of the people and posts within the past two pages have been good reads, appropriate, and spot on. I think the community has pretty much called a spade a spade here, and that spade just doesn't like being shown the mirror.

His words aren't such as problem as his attitude and intentions. It seems that he wants all of us to kneel and pray for his 'nano-technology'. It seems the point has been lost on you here. Or at least the sentiment. If you go back and re-read the last two pages of this thread and still feel the way you do, then alright, by all means, we're all entitled to our own differences in opinion. What I can say with certainty, though, is that it is largely frowned upon to conduct oneself as totalrebound has since his work was *gasp* 'challenged'.

As I stated previously, as long as there's healthy discussion going on, I'm happy to let it continue. If it degenerates, which I'd love to think we're all mature enough to not let it do so, I'll do what I need to do, and handle those responsible as necessary. There's also nothing forcing anybody to continue to post in here. Anybody who wishes not to is welcome to let it drop off of Page 1 and into oblivion, as countless threads have before it.

Some questions (no drama, just real questions)

1. Is this based off the default global? The skin tones look just like the default global.
2. Do you see the way the jersey looks (jagged and strange in the top left hand corner), is that being tweaked?
3. Can you explain why you call it Nano Technology? I looked it up and that is not a term relevant to graphics.
4. If you proceed, are you going to share a global without an EXE? Or is the global not really edited?
5. If you plan on proceeding with a release, because an EXE can't be shared on here, how do you plan on sharing it?
6. Is progressive sweat a part of the global? What quarter is the Jordan from? What are you doing for lighting? Are the body types edited or are they default?
7. You started this entire post with a "2k9 to 2k14" player size tweak. If you release, are you releasing with normal/small/large size players? Just large players? Is that part of this anymore?
8. If you are posting screenshots, I take it you plan on releasing this at some point, do you plan on changing the title of the topic?

The jersey is still distorted, what exactly is taking place? That is what we are trying to figure out. What exactly are you editing? Can we please stop calling it Nano Technology? because that's not a real thing?. Maybe call it "Global/EXE edit - Work in progress"?

The skin tones still look default, and judging by the height he is getting on that layup, is the distortion in the picture because you are oversizing the players (by editing the EXE?).

These are all fair and legitimate questions.

Whats the point of you posting if they are not to be analyzed.... that's the whole point...

Something is still off, you are not explaining anything. You are just posting screens. My questions above are legitimate and will help us better understand what you are doing, and what you are trying to do. The LeBron pictures you just posted look like a straight global edit (Not a global I would use, no offense, just not seeing the benefit yet).

There is still some distortion in the image, something is off. What are you doing? What are you using as a base? What exactly is being edited?

The screenshots do not help us understand these things TotalRebound.

Is it because you are just looking for comments and never planned on releasing? is it because it's broken right now in some way? A poster above stated that it looked butchered, some of the screenshots look that way, so that is a very fair question. After all of this, that's not an attack.
