There's no one I've seen in my 40+ years of following the NBA to compare Porzingis with.....kid is unique.

I was impressed with him at the draft after his interview. He really seemed like he had a great command of the English language so I didn't think he'd be just another European stiff

i don't think it's a 100% match but watching him crash the boards and his close outs reminds me of Ralph Sampson. he's like a praying mantis with that height and reach. hard to tell for offense who the comparison is. i've seen his most of his scoring come off of ball movement or crashing the boards. not iso or running the court.

I'm so sick and tired of Fisher's rotations. Why isn't Lopez getting more minutes at crunch time?

Amen brother !

Derrick Williams was on a roll and bringing energy during the 4th quarter of the Houston game. But Fisher takes him out after just a few minutes. WTF??????
This coaching-on-the-fly bs is killing the team.

Really liking the play of Afflalo. He's been money during this stretch.

Meanwhile, at 14-14, the Knicks would be in the Playoffs in the West.

Crazy to think that about the west but we may be seeing a change in balance to a more even playing field which is good for the league.
Jeff, I've always liked Afflalo think he has being very efficient and takes the pressure off Melo and KP for that matter.

Things could get interesting if Afflalo stays healthy and continues to be a reliable third scoring option.
But the home record HAS to improve.

Some Knick players think Fisher isn't up to speed on offense;

Jeff, when are you getting your Porzingod jersey??
Wed Dec 30, 2015 6:57 pm
Fisher isn't a good COACH coach, yep this isn't news at all.
He gets out coached in 4th quarters all the time and his rotations are questionable.

Report: Knicks Interested In Point Guard Brandon JenningsThe Knicks will become a better team with Jennings. Less Melo ISOs possibly could help Robin Lopez get his Portland game back. Only issue here is that Jennings driven offense ceiling isn't all that enticing. They could probably become little better but how much would Knicks have to give up to land him? He's playing for contract and is only 26 so there's a chance Knicks have to bid quite high in order to keep him around beyond this season. That means a lot invested Melo/Jennings/Lopez going forward for next few years. But perhaps one good thing about this though is that it's likely not going to have negative impact on Kristaps development. The Knicks would be still able to compete for the playoffs while helping Kristaps to mold into a star that he's supposed to be.

I don't think Jennings would run the offense, per se. In the triangle, the point guard is more a facilitator and spot up shooter than anything else

This.
Though Calderón shoots plenty so don't see why Jennings wouldn't.

Y'all heard those crazy stories involving Williams and Early? Don't these cats realise they're targets? Hire security if you're going to hang out in seedy areas. I hope Early makes a full recovery.

Williams got robbed by prostitutes in his apartment and Early was robbed in his Uber and was shot in the leg. These stories make me not go and visit NYC anymore.

NYC is alright......but like any big city, certain areas are rougher than others. These pro athletes think they're immune from getting jacked because of who they are. Please....thugs out there don't give a f*** - they want to get paid by any means necessary. They even took Cleanthony's gold caps from his teeth......damn.

I didn't like how the Knicks finished last night's game (no ball movement/too much iso), but back-to-back wins over Atlanta is nice. Loved the give-and-go between Lopez and Calderon.
How about Porzingis getting in Bazemore's face?
Thu Jan 07, 2016 10:10 pm
I think the Hawks might be our new hated rivalry, Melo has had issues with some of there players plus him Timmy hate each other too.
Thu Jan 07, 2016 10:40 pm
Knicks fans must've loved it when Melo backed up Porzingis in that little altercation
