I predicted that this thread was started by Corymach.... nailed it.

Pelicans making the Finals

Wait, this is stupid. New Orleans beating the Warriors? and Memphis? and the overpowered Clippers? Memphis beating the Spurs? Chicago being the 5th seed? Dallas and Utah making the playoffs before OKC?
GET OUT OF HERE.

My prediction is Heat vs Cavaliers for the ECF and Clippers vs Spurs for the WCF. And the Finals will be between Heat and Clippers, ultimate showdown. Wade will have his 4th ring by the end.
You heard it here first.

Then what's your prediction on how the 2016 NBA Playoffs will go? The reason why I said my prediction is because I believe that Durant and Ibaka will (to me) be injury-prone during the 15-16 season where OKC collapses in injuries down to 9th place elimination from playoffs race from top 4 of the west. Hoiberg isn't ready to handle the Bucks yet. If he stays and has more experience, I'd maybe see the Bulls in the top 4 of the east. History of the NBA has shown that it's not easy for a rookie coach to get his team in the playoffs with home court advantage. Steve Kerr is the only rookie coach in NBA History to do so and I believe that the history will remain.
Remember Brad Stevens and Jason Kidd?
Brad Stevens as a rookie coach can't get the Celtics to the playoffs. Jason Kidd got the Nets as a rookie coach to the playoffs, but not with home court advantage.
These are the NBA standings for the 15-16 season to me (x = clinched playoff berth, y = clinched division, z = clinched conference):
West:
1. z-San Antonio (69-13)
2. y-Golden State (68-14)
3. x-LA Clippers (64-18)
4. x-Memphis (60-22)
5. x-Houston (57-25)
6. x-New Orleans (50-32)
7. y-Utah (45-37)
8. x-Dallas (42-40)
9. Oklahoma City (41-41)
10. Minnesota (39-43)
11. Sacramento (35-47)
12. Phoenix (30-52)
13. Portland (28-54)
14. Denver (20-62)
15. LA Lakers (15-67)
East:
1. z-Cleveland (67-15)
2. y-Atlanta (63-19)
3. x-Milwaukee (56-26)
4. x-Washington (54-28)
5. x-Chicago (50-32)
6. y-Boston (45-37)
7. x-Toronto (41-41)
8. x-Indiana (39-43)
9. Miami (39-43)
10. Charlotte (35-47)
11. New York (30-52)
12. Brooklyn (30-52)
13. Orlando (25-57)
14. Detroit (20-62)
15. Philadelphia (17-65)

76ers vs Lakers NBA Final with a heel turn from Gerald Wallace to help the Lakers win in game 7

Goddamit, my brain cells just died upon reading that 'explanation.'
Placing OKC at #9 is just absurd. You think Utah's gonna make the playoffs this year?
And fuck you, Hoiberg is coachimg the Bulls, not the Bucks.
Go play more 2k in the corner

Heat vs GSW in the finals. Bosh Finals MVP.

I think the only thing that is right about the original post is the knicks not making the playoffs!

I have nothing against this thread though. Anything can happen in this league. Consider this a corymach's dynasty thread that has 0.5% of happening in reality.
One thing I disapprove though is the Heat's standing. 39 wins? Come on. Are you benji v2.0?

Pelicans in the Finals. Wow. 2K simulation gone wrong. Jesus christ.
Utah making the playoffs with......Hayward???????
OKC in 9th place because.. corymach logic.
Lakers-Cavs Finals.

Some "bold" predictions here. Pelicans in the Finals is a long shot but the same can be said about the Warriors around this time last year.

I know it's a little early but I would like to nominate Corymach and his threads to the NLSC HOF.
Golden... Every thread is pure gold.

Hoiberg with the Bulls and against the Bucks is what I meant. But he'll not be able to be in top 4 coaches of the east as a rookie coach. That's why the Bucks will be at 3rd seed and Bulls will be at 5th seed. Bucks beating Celtics in the first round 4-1. Bulls losing to the Wizards 4-3. 8th seed, if not Indiana then Miami.
