Not compatible with my GNex, sounds like more 2K for me this year.

Tried it out in terrible bathroom lighting before going to bed here. All in all it worked perfectly and was super easy. It's funny to put different hairstyles and facial hair on yourself as if you were a GTA character. I'll have to redo this before loading up the demo

Well, it's a couple of years old at this point, but that's still obviously fairly recent. Seems it comes down to certain hardware requirements, which not all devices - even fairly recent ones - fulfil.

could be the case. but that wouldnt make much sense seeing that samsung phones sell like hot cakes. So that means you will have a lot of people that cant use the app.

EA's facebook page said they are looking into the compatibility issues with the app.

There's a way to install the app manually to your phone even if it says its not compatible. But from my experience, i still can't get it to complete the scan. i mean it does go thru with it but it says the scan wasnt good enough. and i did it in different rooms, different lighting. where it should have worked. So perhaps its just buggy just like good ole 2k's face scan app. the other thing is, some of us did get that kinect on xbox one. why cant i use that? doesnt make sense either. It should be an option to do it with a PS eye cam or the kinect or your phone(ANY newer phone). i'm sitting on a Note 5. no excuses, that thing has a good camera and a great processor.

anyway. for those that cant even get it to load on their phones but would like to see it works anyway. here's the work around or side loading method(do exactly what it says and it should install the app correctly on the first try.)

Currently downloading the demo. While I'm waiting, I'll give the app a shot on my HTC One M8. Downloaded it yesterday, but didn't get around to trying it out.

On the Samsung Galaxy Note 4, keep getting errors. Incorrect face size (what does that mean) and No face detected.

Tried several times.

I got a dark red face by using bathroom lighting. It's really cloudy out and I can't get it to render with that lighting. I really wish these companies would give us a simple blending slider for hue, brightness, and saturation so we can match the skin tones better.

Well, I was able to install the app on my GNex via workaround and scan my face, but it keep crashing during generation of the preview.

I questioned back at E3 when they first shown this in the presentation, it looked just fair to easy to quickly make a perfect face scan.

Doesn't look like I will get my ugly mug in the game after all.

Think I will just create nba legend and one day future HOF Yinka Dare

I struggled a bit at first, but after a few tries, I got it to work. Got a decent scan, but the lighting could've been better, so I'll give it another go. Still waiting for the demo to completely install, so haven't been able to apply it in-game yet.

In a way I am not that disappointed that the app doesn't work as I am working away right now anyway and won't even be able to play the demo till next weekend so hopefully they can iron out this issue before then.

yeah I was skeptical about it at that time as well but it worked perfectly the first time for me
