Heat to introduce "South Beach" alternates?

Micky Arison solicits fan feedback on potential "South Beach" Heat jersey colorway

Miami Heat owner Micky Arison may be seeking to switch up his team's colorway for a possible alternate uniform in the near future that recalls South Beach and Miami Vice.

On Wednesday, Arison posted a fan-made mockup of Dwyane Wade on the court with two Heat jersey variants featuring pink and teal and asked for fan feedback, saying he might bring up the possibility with adidas - the NBA's current apparel company.

I'm not a fan of the Heat, but I am a fan of GTA: Vice City, so it would be kind of cool to see them break out an alternate like that on occasion. I think it should be a recoloured throwback though, with the design they used when they came into the league in the late 80s.

Isn't it inspired by the Miami Vice themed jersey some guy made? I'm not a fan or a disliker either way but it is cool that an owner picked up on something like that and is considering it.

If done right, some "Miami Vice" unis could be cool.
