Fake Facebook Account Trolls Target Haters With Epic PrecisionMike Melgaard used a fake account to pose as Target customer service and give them a piece of his mind.

Guess people don't really get what that tick means, or how to identify when an actual admin of the page is responding to a comment. The outrage is pretty hilarious.
On a similar note, the initial event that sparked the posts and the subsequent trolling - the complaints that they're not going to have boys' toys and girls' toys sections - is ludicrous. Not the change Target is making, but the outrage itself. If that truly upsets you, then I have to believe you're not doing enough constructive things in your life.

I was in charge of a team handling this type of customer of service for a huge food company till recently, so I can't even begin to imagine how livid this must have left the Target social media peeps. Well, at least it wasn't someone actually employed by them and disgruntled, that'd probably be worse otherwise.

True, that is the downside of people being clueless enough to believe it's actually a Target rep responding to them. At the same time though, those posts and the account itself could've been deleted and blocked respectively, with Target stepping in and pointing out it isn't them, and how to identify a genuine response from the page.
