I felt like this about my XBox 360. I bought the NBA and WWE games every year, and that was pretty much it. And 2k9 was the last year I got the console version of even the NBA game.mp3 wrote:After reading this thread I don't feel like I am getting the most out of my ps4 & ps+ account.
I have a nba live 15, nba 2k15 & call of duty and that is all I play on when I have the time lol
Both Microsoft and Sony have the same thing. Each month, there's a selection of free games for those with a paid online subscription (which, yes, is required to play online). With Sony, as long as you add it to your library during the month it's available, it's yours as long as your subscription is active. If your subscription lapses, and you re-subscribe later, you'll regain access to any free games you'd previously acquired.Dommy73 wrote:PS4 offers these free games if I pay for the membership (which as I understand is mandatory for both consoles if I want to play online) so that might be more interesting. Is that like EA's "On the House"? Like you get it once and it's yours forever? Does XOne has similar thing with their program?

I suppose that isn't exactly... hard.Pdub wrote:I read that it didn't help people much in terms of performance.
I guess it depends on how the game is made. NBA 2K15 on PC has these big archives, so we still had to load the whole thing and extract needed files. So that effectively cancels effects of SSDs.

SSD shown to improve performance, but not drastically. Why you shouldn't upgrade to an ssd

Just try and cut back on something like drinking for a few months like I do right before games and league pass renewal
Dommy73 wrote:So... I have decided to pull the trigger on the PS4 purchase.
So far so good, got several games with the purchase, downloaded the rocket league and applied for the NLSC drive club.
Now the dilemma arises - NBA 2K16. Which platform should I get?
PC version will surely look somewhat better, but PS4 could have more players and it should have less cheaters and script kiddies.
