18 million? Where'd they get that from?

The cap was set at $43.38 million, the Kings' players payroll was a whopping $69.5 million. They are way over the cap. I'm not sure if they have exceptions but I'm sure they don't total up 18 million. That's just impossible. :?

Edit, sorry I was busy looking up sources while posting this one, thus I didn't see Crawford's post.

how are they over just cuz peja wants to leave.....nah i dont think they gonna give up peja plus if they do i heard they can get ron artest or somone better..but they not gonna give him up this team is still contendors u cant count them out u got bibby gettin better every year and still is young.... u got doug whos a tight defensive player and who score on pressure ...then u got brad miller who can rebound ,post ,shoot from the outside and pass, then you have webber whos is all-star if hes healthly....he played wit a weak knee and still was puttin up good fingures.....imagine if hes 100% next season? then u have bobby jackson who can come off the bench and drop 20 points, play sum d, and pass...... Then u have Peja who second nba leading scorer best shooter in the nba and is gonna get better .... how can u say they finish? ight lets say peja does leave and they trade him........

They're only improvement over last year IMO is that BJax will be healthy, Ostertag was signed, and they drafted Martin/Minard (dunno about the latter making the team but he should). However, they lost Divac, Buford, and IMO, most importantly, Anthony Peeler. I don't think they're over, but if they kept Peeler and left Christie instead of Wallace available for the Cats (who would not have taken Christie), they would be in much better shape than they are right now.
