Riot wrote:I hate the Lakers because of the fans too. The fans don't even care it seems like. Like on TV during laker games on Staples they are too focused on the stars off the court than the stars on it.

The team didnt/doesnt show heart. It's depressing to say that is the premier franchise.

Atleast they have won championships. Even with those fans & crappy players.

More than I can say bout your team.

players aren't crappy but these days their attiudes are.

I'll take WCF team that played injuried and outmatched against a team BRED to for the title that lost than a team that didn't even try and just walked into the finals only to get dominated.

As a wolve fan last year, I think I'd have more pride and dignity than a laker fan last year that's for sure.

I'm amazed you forget all the other years. Basketball isn't about one year, it's about alot of years.

Team bred to win? How so? With 40 year old guys? Rightousness. No depth? Sure. Detroit outplayed them, plain and simple. Will you stop bitching about being injured. That's their own fucking problem, LA whooped their sorry asses. Just as Detroit whooped LA's. How soon kids like you forget the three championship years, whilst KG and co kept on exiting in the first round, I'd take the Lakers over that team any day.

Amazed you only talk about last year. Friggin bandwagonners, one good year and Minny fans pop out left and right. Please, do us a favour and eat shit & die.

Be bitching about LA, fuck that shit. I'll end all of your bitching now...since your a little kid with bad memory, let me make it simple:

3 rings to none. Thank you & fuck off.

bandwagon? I've been a wolf fan all my life.

I was talking about last year as an example. And what are you talking about NOT being bred to win. Before the year EVERYONE thought Lakers would WALK to the championship. Talks about them breaking the all time wins in one season, talks about this and about that. They brought those guys in to WIN THE TITLE.

Wolves don't have the grandest history but we're still a young franchise. All I was saying was I would take a team that was good but lost via injury than a team that went to the finals and lost via no heart.

Lakers we're the most talented team on the floor in the Finals but the Pistons were the more hungry. I'll take pride, dignity and heart over a matertial reward anyday. Championships come and they go but championship spirt is remembered always.

Take other years as example too. One bad year doesn't > 3 glorious ones.

Atleast we can say our team GOT to the finals. Your team is so "HUNGRY" yet they couldn't beat LA. Tch tch.

Im sorry but that was just lame. Why wont you just admit that the Lakers were better, like Jackal said....Fuck injuries, it is part of basketball...if Karl Malone was healthy the Lakers would sweep the Pistons 4-0 nah mean?

But hey, he wasnt so the Lakers lost. and I dont blame injury at all. If you claim that the Timberwolves would beat the Lakers if Sam Cassell was healty, just prove it...go on, but wait you cant, so your words mean nothing but "But what IF" garbage. Its your opinion that the Timberwolves would be better without injuries, but its a FACT that the Lakers were the best team in the west last year, like it or not, its a proven fact.

Sam + Hudson.

We would beat the Lakers, no doubt in my mind, if they both would have been heathly. Am I making excusses? Well, yes and no. I'm not MAKING them they are legit and they are there. But the fact is, we weren't heathly. This last year who knows if the Pistons were even the BEST team. I mean, they played Bucks (they aren't too good), they played hobbled Nets team (kidd hurt) and they played a hobbled Pacers team (Tinlsey, Jermaine) and then they played a hobbled Lakers team (Malone).

Nobody really knows if they are the best team.

just gotta toss another thing into the thread that i left out of mine.

Most controversial moment: Reggie Lewis nearly dieing on the court live on tv.

man i remember this like it just happened 5 minutes ago. when he went down no one knew what was going on at first but it became clear really quick that it was really serious. not sure if anyone else from this board got to watch the game(might have been on tv in boston/charlotte only) but being a boston fan this was a terrible day. whats worse is how if wife continued to drag his name through the mud for years after he died just trying to score a big pay check.
