mr t. i wont argue the fact that black people usually jump higher than white people. however i will agrue bringing race into anything. there have been white people who could jump and there are black people who can shoot. now bird himself said basketball has become a black sport. would you all say that just because most of the nba is black? not me. i think the nba is gonna become alot more diverse in the comeing years. with the rest of the world catching up to america i think basketball might be even more diverse than baseball. that will only be a good thing if you ask me.

One cannot logically compare shooting and jumping.

These are two different things, jumping is in the genes, you really don't control how high you can jump, you can control whether or not you can reach that ceiling of your jumping ability, but you have no control over how high.

Shooting is skill, you can't say one person can shoot because they are a certain ethnic backround because shooting has almost nothing to do with athletic ability or genes.
