Over a season, perhaps, but would a player take a substantial number of those shots in a single game? Over the course of a season, you'd essentially be losing games you'd otherwise win in order to win games you'd otherwise lose...

Pistons undefeated since Smith left, Andre averaging 16/15 with 2.5 blocks in just 28 minutes over the last five games. Annihilated Cavs and Magic, found a new roll alley-oop buddy in D.J.

Hopefully they realize it. Smith is washed up, it would appear. It's a shame, I enjoyed Josh Smith for years.
