No excuse, you beat me pretty good there. That vintage Wade tho, so sexy.

Brawn Shadley wrote:WTF, from 14th place to 6th place in just a week. :o

Other than 1st place, all the teams are pretty much close to each other that rankings can drastically change with a big win in a single matchup.

You know what's even more funny? That all our division teams seem to be pretty solid playoffs berth contenders. Even Limo has DeRozan and Rubio coming back soon and he'll make a pretty good scary late season push. I wouldn't be surprised if all of us make it to the post season.

Just a suggestion for next season.

Brawn Shadley wrote:In hindsight on the official league, we should have made adjustments on the number of roster spots available based on the number of teams in the league, imo.

Less 12 teams: 15 man roster (PG,SG,G,G,SF,PF,F,F,C,C,Ut,Ut,Bn,Bn,Bn)

12 or 14 teams: 12 man roster (remove one G,F, and Bn)

16 teams or more: 10 man roster (PG,SG,G,SF,PF,F,C,C,Ut,Bn)

I haven't thought it well enough if it's a good alternative to the bidding suggestion made by air gordon (regarding FA availability) or if both would enhance the league more if implemented at the same time.

Rightfully so since of all the divisions, ours is the most active in terms of teams' maintenance... aside AG's team which is pretty dominant until recently, shadow set his roster already with those trades he's involve earlier and now you, me, and Wet Dreams are tweaking ours...

Based on standings the Shock-Freeze division is currently the best with 3 teams in the top 5.

Followed by the division composed of gorgeous manly men with big dicks, where the top 1 team resides.

Even Nick's, the lowest division, isn't that bad considering the currently 18th ranked team in the league is still close to .500 winning percentage.

I'm more surprised with the 2nd to the last team, Lamecock, since that big trade of his he hasn't lost a matchup, with his only 'lousy' performance of having a draw to top 2 team Qballer.

I like the idea of taking away 1 x g and f... Maybe another c also but since yahoo is quite generous with center eligibility, nvm

I'm always agreeable with shortening the regular season/starting the playoffs earlier. Contrary to what q says, there is always a strong possibility of players sitting late in the season. And we are in a weekly lineup format making the risk higher.

I could agree with Brawn Shadley. Any more team in this league with current setting, rosters will be filled with players from China. Perhaps little tweak in setting wouldn't hurt the fun.

And I was on board with shortening the regular season for earlier playoffs already. Last few weeks could get too random with current setting. The change actually would somewhat help out issues of early shutdown candidate players, at least a bit.

Brawn Shadley wrote:I'm more surprised with the 2nd to the last team, Lamecock, since that big trade of his he hasn't lost a matchup, with his only 'lousy' performance of having a draw to top 2 team Qballer.

I'm not too surprised. Josh Smith was a disaster and possibly the worst player in the league in early season. He got rid of him and eventually landed Jennings and Favors at the cost of Smith and Deron. And Mason Plumlee now is playing up to FIBA hype with Brook Lopez in the dog house. Then Tyler Zeller is freed to a starting center role and has healthy Stuckey back who was supposedly a best scorer for depleted Pacers backcourt. Pekovic is dead tho, lol. (glad lamerock didn't bite the early season offer I sent for him)

As for divs, I still think our division is most competitive one. Shock and Freeze div has nice standings but I consider Limo, Wet, Harden, Rose, and myself all worthy contenders when you actually skim through the roster talent.

Ahh dog poop. Al Jefferson is out for a month and now I might not even make the playoffs(that's at least 4 weeks out of remaining 10 weeks). But at least I acquired Cody Zeller through previous trade, who's to benefit the most from Al Jeff's woes. Also hoping to see Nurkic kicking some Mozgov ass for more minutes. As for Kevin Garnett, he's nice but he sits out games like Wade nurturing his dead knees. This makes him so frustrating to own despite occasional sexay outings.

Surprise, I get a nice 'goodbye' game from Trey Burke. With Burks out for season this one was due I guess. Just needed a SF and Loul Deng is a great guy to own barring oft injury issues. Keeping fingers crossed he stays healthy(and he's my first real Heat player, yays).

Also looking forward to Reggie Jackson getting traded. Otherwise there's a chance he could become a mere 8-9 ppg player while healthy WestDurant dominates the balls.

I know I'm doing poor but this league right now is more fun than last season. We're 10 weeks into the season now, so it's basically half way point in regular season. Keep it up boys.

League is already maxed out at 20 teams.

I already picked the shortened regular season when I changed the playoff format to 8 teams. Playoffs are weeks 21, 22, & 23 instead of 22, 23, & 24.

I am a bit surprised at how close the teams are this year. Even Lamrock at 19th is still around 10 games back of a playoff spot, which isn't impossible to come back from. Usually we start to see the worst teams fall 20-40 games back by now

I was saying because you suggested 24 team league when enough applied.

Nice though that 23 weeks is implemented over 24 weeks. Should make a difference.

Put your pants back on son, the week isn't even near to being over, you didn't see me celebrating when I had an 11-0 lead over Mr. Monday in the first day of our matchup.

D. Rose is turning into a Josh Smith copycat. .233% with 14 FGM , .133 3pt % and five freakin' blocks. The bad thing though is I already have J Smith in my team

And because of that, he'll dethrone RB4H for the top seed but I don't know if he still be next week since Kobe and Wade are planning to have their rest these coming days... Another upset-full week with 4 of the top 5 teams losing... opportunity for us bottom tiers to move up (Y)

EDIT

Forgot about the math and been carried away by week 9's drastic changes... none have moved in the top 5...

You don't have to thank him. Kobe's counterpart in that trade is also doing nice and has better outlook going forward. Maintenance mode Kobe will kick in and you will see plenty of DNP - rest.
