Professional Wrestling (WWE, TNA, ROH, etc)

Other video games, TV shows, movies, general chit-chat...this is an all-purpose off-topic board where you can talk about anything that doesn't have its own dedicated section.

An Undertaker match that not many have probably seen before tbh.

He's obviously going to turn on Miz at some point (or have Miz turn on him), which would presumably achieve exactly that.

I assume so. Time will tell whether it'll lead anywhere, or just be a brief program before he's forgotten or back to a comedy gimmick. Of course, not everyone can be a main eventer, but with the two major belts unified - which is still think is how it should be - they need to re-establish the midcard and the midcard titles. Someone like Sandow can definitely help in that regard.

Highly recommend listening to it.

That said, I really need to start taking NXT seriously and watch it every week.

The CM Punk interview is definitely worth checking out, either by giving it a listen or at least this transcription.

Oh yeah I saw this live on the UFC PPV broadcast earlier. He seemed really focused and really wanting to do well in this since he doesn't really need the money.

I really hope when he walks out to the octagon he does the "It's Clobbering Time!" thing

Interesting. There are rumblings that Brock Lesnar may join him following Wrestlemania 31.

CM Punk said he was worried about his long-term health in the WWE. Isn't taking real punches to the jaw not bothersome to him?

Ideally you shouldn't get hurt in the wwe but he was repeatedly getting concussed and being forced to work with a concussion. At least ufc gives you time off after a fight. Plus he isn't on the road 300+ nights of the year

What Q said; UFC requires you to take a rest for 4-6 months after a fight especially if you lose bad or your previous fight went the distance, while Vince will ask you to suit up a week after an injury if possible even if you need more weeks than that to heal because he will owe you one else your push gets aborted. That fatigue or light injury eventually pile up on your body considering WWE does house shows 3-4 times a week, so you take painkillers or stimulants to keep up with the schedule.

That is why Eddie Guerrero is dead and Chris Benoit committed murder suicide.

Cena is a ridiculous fast healer for some reason. He will be "injured" for probably a month but is back a week later and be in the main event for that PPV. Meanwhile, Bryan would probably have to work his way on the top again.

Cena's had some legitimately bad injuries, but hats off to him, he's been able to overcome them and return fairly quickly. His character may be stale, his ring work may not win everyone over, but he's a workhorse.

Unfortunately, Bryan's injury is complicated, and quite severe. I think he'll be back in the main event when he's cleared to work again, but his recovery has been slow.

Didnt Punk like say to an interview that sometimes they are called back to the show even though they are still injured? Maybe that's happening to Cena too.
