NCAA March Madness 2015-16 V2.5 MINOR UPDATE (1.10.16)

Gentleman, I am about as far as I'm going to get with the March Madness 2k15 roster. Rosters are accurate and have new players rated to their scouting reports. Rotations are completed and projected as their respective teams will play.
I now turn this over to the community to see what improvements you guys can make. I've played about 30 games with these rosters and teams have played as they should and players have performed accordingly.

Credit goes to King Mellow for allowing me to use his CFs from his draft classes to create more variety in the players. bigh0rt also provided me many CF resources and JPark made the Cliff Alexander, Jahlil Okafor, and Myles Turner Cfs.

What this roster includes:

-Every player has a CF lookalike or real CF (there are no random CFs)
-Every added player is rated to their scouting reports, and players remaining were re-edited in cases where projections had them contributing more.
-Positions/Height/Weight/ Jersey numbers have been updated.
-Gear is edited, ( this seems to change on a game by game basis, so it was what they were wearing in the picture I found).

What this roster does not include:

-Accurate ages for the players( this became too tedious)
-Updated playbooks (teams have the same playbooks as from MM 2k14)

I also made all the CFs for the Arizona squad as well as 4 of their new jerseys (excluding the gray alternate) If anyone can make better Arizona jerseys, then please do, I think they are good, but I couldn't find a template for the see through venting on the shorts, and these will satisfy my needs.

Just to add, this is an add on to the MM 2k14 mod, so you need those files in the game before this will work.

Yeap, it will overwrite a lot of files and it's not recommended to mix patches. bighort's March Madness.

I noticed SMU uni's don't show up.
Jahlil Ohkafor's cf shows up on Tyus Jones, and Jahlil Okafor is headless.
I can fix it in my roster. Just wanted to post this for the thread.

Is the SMU issue a problem within the roster, or are the files missing, do you know??

I'll have to check this out. I know the Okafor and Jones CFs work for me. Also, the SMU jerseys are there for me as well. I didn't touch any of those files, they should be the same as the MM 2k14. Is anyone else having this issue?

Found out the problem with Okafor (I didnt include png3000). This is fixed now, and I added the SMU jerseys though they were part of the MM2k14 release.

Also fixed Justice Winslow's hair stlye.

droc81yo and everyone who has worked on this game... I just want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart. I haven't played college hoops in 6 years and now its back yo! I can't stop smiling about it.

The one thing I see so far is that Kentucky's new jerseys are not on the game. They are actually using the shorts that they wore in a 2013 alternate jersey that you already have loaded. The shorts are from the blue jerseys that have "UK" on the chest. The current jersey is a bit different than that alternate, but if you just put "Kentucky" across the chest and the name on the back, that would do it bro.

Jmardis08, this is exactly how I felt last year. It's great to play college ball again. Also this roster works in season and association mode, which is huge for me.

Big update coming with more realistic CFs for several players, new players added (as some players have now redshirted). And realistic rotations based on real minutes that are played. Currently working out a bug on Iowa State's roster. Went to set rotations and it took away two players and made them all Matt Thomas. In RED MC the other two players are there, but in game rrotation screen now shows 3 Matt Thomas's. This glitch happened in game and I have no idea how to fix it. The last save I had would require me to re edit several teams. Anyone know a fix for this?

I found in the teams tab is has player #315 in 3 spots. Should be an easy fix. Now that Red MC is back up I bought the teams tab (don't know why I didn't do this before).

For the game not to.crash, do the teams you want to use in a season be in slots 0-29? I ask because I reordered the divisions to resemble real conferences by changing the division tab ( the teams tab was working for some reason), but when I start a season it crashes. Do I need to put the teams I want to use in slots 0-29?

I believe for Association to work, not only do they need to be in those slots, but they also need GIDs 0 - 29 or 1 - 30, or whatever the default configuration is. I recall HAWK giving me that piece of advice when I was having problems with it.

Nope, but there is a college mod for 2k13 but it does not have updated rosters.

I'm running into so many crashes trying to make a 260+ team roster. It sucks. but I have made some logos and jersey art as well as renamed some 2k13 art. I will try to start with a 80 team roster first.

For now it's just random CAP faces and random hairstyles.

the crashing has something to do with my laptop and the game in general. I'm getting crashes using default nba rosters. Not sure how this will affect my modding efforts... I'm sure I will not be modding much until I figure out the issue or get a new pc. Especially with work, my kid, and the holidays. If I get a chance (or I avoid being lazy) I will compile the logos and few jerseys and upload them.

so i figured out the crashing... I was using the same GID for too many jerseys... any way I completed murray state floor and logo today. It's not quite the official floor but good enough for me.


I'm not really doing jerseys at this time but I did complete Boise state jersey. I played this today with generic players it was pretty fun. I played as BYU vs. Creighton. It was fun, I won by 3 and I think I will continue to focus on this mod. I will try to post screenshots in the 2k14 screenshots and video section.
