Love the way he immediately picks up his dribble on the behind the back. "Nope, nope, can't quite pull that off. Well, worth a shot."

I also miss the old days but I find Big Cous extremely entertaining to watch. He seems to have grown up from last year which is a plus in basketball sense.

Anyhoo, the Heat got annihilated by the Rockets tonight. :shake: Harden just too much for tired Wade and Bosh is just not enough of a size against Dwight. Uh oh.

LoL what a mess. Below link has a nice read.
http://www.ohio.com/blogs/cleveland-cav ... bled=false

And ofc LBJ and Irving is always a fun story:

LeBron James and Kyrie Irving exchanged words following Tuesday's loss to the Blazers, according to Brian Windhorst of ESPN.
Beat writer Chris Haynes adds that LeBron challenged Kyrie to be a better playmaker. "He just wants Kyrie to be the best player he can be," a source told Haynes. James and Irving had a healthy but contentious discussion on the way to the locker room after the Cavs' loss, which led to Irving leaving quickly without speaking to the media, according to multiple sources. "There's a lot of bad habits, a lot of bad habits been built up the past couple years," James said. "When you play that style of basketball, it takes a lot to get it up out of you." While the sky may be falling in Cleveland, we're still only four games into the regular season and there's too much talent on the Cavs for this to continue

Didn't Waiters also have issues with Irving about this last season which led to team altercation?

It is also hilarious that coach Blatt had to clarify that LBJ & KLove should "eat first" on offence. Wasn't this obvious when each decided to join the team?

I've said this before but Irving's overrated in a sense that he's received tons of credit little too early mostly for potential that hasn't seen no fruition. Varejao has been a better player all this time with him anyway. His playing style is better suited as a shooting guard, and it's frustrating LBJ as Irving simply sucks at facilitating. Ironically his WinProduced stats also suggested that he could become a better player at SG position, he just has been a slightly above average PG that's given tons usage.

My Opinion: Rondo for Irving. Pull it, Dan Gilbert. My gut feeling says cavs winning it all with Irving & Waiters backcourt will be extremely tough.

With the way Rondo clashes with his teammates, I'm not sure that he's necessarily a better option. Granted, he's also a superior defender and playmaker, but the rest of his offensive game is still average at best. His spotty jumpshot can't take advantage of the drive and dish opportunities that LeBron can create, and he's a liability from the free throw line.

Irving's a fine player, but he's a young player who still needs to develop his game, and probably mature a little as a person as well. They're still figuring things out in Cleveland, and losing makes for some testy moments between teammates. No need to make sweeping changes just yet.

I think that's the thing. People have been waiting for his development but there have been none. He shoots about the same, assists about the same, plays about the same, no different from day 1 in the NBA. I think that's what LBJ was addressing by 'bad habit'. Can Irving change? Tbh he's never been that good unless for the hype. He needs to change his life long style of basketball and improve at the same time now. LeBron boost? That worked for Chalmers, Mo Willaims. But I think Irving's closer to Larry Hughes.

I don't believe Irving in his career is ever going to be as good of a sidekick as Wade in 4 seasons together, maybe even including 32 year old Wade that played only 53 games. It's funny people laughed at me when I said Irving/Wiggins/LBJ is not a winning material but won't win jack that Miami trio was a superior one despite the aging problem. The Cavs are lucky to have traded for Love. Now they just have to work around LBJ/Love and try to turn Irving into a Mario Chalmers not Wade.

Kyrie Irving is a player kind of Stephon Marbury. High-scoring but selfish

Irving is just four years into his career, and 22 years old. Way too soon to write him off. Way too soon.

Must be the Team USA effect. Cousins is playing superb right now, with Shaq even calling him 'the best big man today'.

I've been telling you guys this over for 2 seasons now. Cousins is extremely fun to watch on all angles. He's great, especially you'll love his skillset for a big man. But he doesn't get the respect from his opponent and especially referees. That pisses him off and he's short fused, in result he gets techs lol. Interestingly, I've been noticing positive changes in his attitude, slow gradual process but it's there. Now he seems like a decent guy actually. But let's get back to it when losses start to mount. 5-1 start is surely surprising though.

As for LBJ, it seems like he wanted to make a point. He had 10th assist quite early in the game and his Cavs were leading big time. But note that Nuggets' best player Ty Lawson wasn't available and Nate Robinson started in his place.

Lastly but not least, Lowry had a triple double. His last assist came in garbage time though. Still, he should be an All Star this year and should have been one too last year.

Incidents involving attitude issues and being on a losing team has a way of overshadowing good play, unfortunately. He's quietly become one of the best big men in the league.

His Team USA experience really helped him I think. Supposedly Colangelo spent a lot of time and had some good conversations with DMC over the summer. He also learned that he could play great defense when he puts in the effort and has been the leader in accepting Malone's defensive philosophy this year.

A healthy Landry, improving McLemore, and an under-control Collison have certainly helped Demarcus and Rudy as well. But the real test will be if they keep up their defensive effort when the speed bumps come.

In their new uniforms Kings looks so nice. Reminds me of their early 2000's uniforms.

Even they lost Isaiah Thomas, the team is better than recent season.

Tony Wroten is having a great season by the first games.

He needs to be rewarded with a trade.
